Very polite at both ends of the move. All of our belongings seem to have survived the journey (a little warping of a couple of wooden items, but that might be simply because of the change in climate). Our belongings were stored without complaint (just with extra payment!) for as long as we needed even though we were unsure of the length of time as we were house-hunting. Hints were made that our belongings could be delivered more promptly than they actually were, but the delay was actually not too terrible. Good experience all round.

Great decision, the whole team, from my first call to the last empty box collection were thorough, prompt, courteous, efficient, cheerful and professional throughout. On my request when booking, the team leader from my first move was looked up and booked once again. Excellent, thank you.

I cannot in truth remember answers to all previous questions re liability etc, but could not leave blank. I answered yes because you were so thorough, professional, courteous, efficient, cheerful throughout that I can't imagine anything was missed.

I have used Matthew James twice now. The first contact being with the Office in the UK. Jayde and her colleagues are all so helpful. Everything was extremely efficient. Dates and times made by email or telephone. Packers were very good and nothing was damaged or broken. Delivery both times went well and the men placed cartons etc., where I wanted them. All in all, I would recommend Matthew James with confidence.

We were in Qatar and needed to move some of our household goods to London and some to Spain.We got three quotes but Matthew James were the only ones who had a comprehensive plan about getting our part shipment to Spain. They organised a removal company in Qatar to pack the shipment and arrange all the documents needed for exporting.It was sent groupage as we didn''t need to move our whole household.We had no time schedule as long as things arrived eventually. The thing that impressed me the most was that my emails were answered mostly within the hour and I did have lots of questions...all the documents were sent via email and all payments on the net. This was great for us. When you are dealing with a company from a distance its so reassuring when you know someone can be contacted and will reply straight away. It makes it less stressful and gives you time to sort out the hundreds of other things you have to do when you leave a country. The end result....our shipment arrived in London. This was unpacked and some things from our house here were packed up to join the items intended for Spain. We were notified when the shipment would arrive at the depot in Spain so we arranged flights to be there to receive it all. All items received in Spain...every single member of the teams involved were outstanding...including the guys in Qatar.

I was very happy with Matthew James. The whole stressful experience of moving was made so much easier because of their courteous and friendly attitude.

The service overall was great, the removal team were helpful, friendly and mildly entertaining.

The only name we caught was Stuart and he and the team were the best we have ever had and we have made a career out of moving house. Politeness, consideration for our property and although our new place is quite rundown and ready for renovation these guys treated it like their own. Value for money and great service. Painless which is what one wants when moving, The people involved in quoting the price,the packers, the transport,we''re all 1st class,and I would recommend this company to anybody who wants a painless experience when moving.

Staff were very careful with all my employer''s belongings and made sure any pre existing damage to property was properly documented and brought to my attention. The nature of this move meant last minute changes to the brief, adding items to be transported. Despite some initial disappointment, staff on the ground managed to finish within the allocated time and to a very high standard. I was particularly impressed with the way only two men managed to lift a baby grand piano and take it downstairs using sheer force. Even when Matt and Matthew interjected during heavy lifting, they never used inappropriate language, which I thought was a credit to their professionalism.

This is the second time our family has had experience with the firm and both times we have been very happy with the level of service and professionalism of the staff

We can''t praise this company highly enough. We were pleased with every aspect from start to finish. We were particularly impressed with the care and consideration given to our furniture and boxes and we were delighted that when the truck arrived in Spain it was the same crew who collected everything from us in the UK - real personal service!! We would have no hesitation in recommending your services. The even arranged our room for us!!!!!!

They were superb from start to finish - all staff were so friendly and helpful, both in UK & Spain. And everything was packed so well.
