Missouri wide receiver Dorial Green-Beckham, once the nation's No. 1 overall recruit, had his second run in with the law in his college career this morning. Green-Beckham was arrested on suspicion of drug activity in his hometown of Springfield, Mo. He was issued a citation for alleged "felony distribution or delivering less than five grams of marijuana" but was later released without bond,.The police department declined to comment on what it labeled an ongoing investigation but a representative from the Greene County Jail told Mizzou's student newspaper his release, "probably means he wasn't involved with what they thought he was involved in,".The 6-foot-6, 225-pound sophomore led Mizzou this past season with 59 receptions for 883 yards and 12 touchdowns as the Tigers went 12-2, winning an SEC East crown on its way to a Cotton Bowl victory against Oklahoma State. In October of 2012, Green-Beckham was arrested, along with two other teammates for suspicion of marijuana possession. He plead guilty to a lesser charge and received a one-game suspension.Under Missouri's code of conduct, a felony arrest would result in an immediate suspension. If convicted, he would be dismissed from the team.
