Move consumer unit position. Fit a new backing board and replace tails and earth. Fit 1-12 way Metal fire rated consumer unit with a Main switch and SPD. Each circuit with individual Rcbo independent of other circuits. Test all circuits and issue a NICEIC installation certificate. Register job for part p of the building regs.

"John was very thorough in specifying the job and ensuring that we ended up with the best solution.

Sam turned up exactly on time, verified the work involved and checked that he had all the parts he required before starting.

The work was completed exactly as specified and in the estimated time.

Sam was very professional, he tidied up perfectly and removed all waste material.

Several electrical jobs completed over the last 4 years or so: Replacement of electric storage heaters throughout property, including additional electrical points Replacement and upgrade of fuse boards Conversion of multiple single sockets to double sockets Replacement of ceiling light fittings Resolution of existing ceiling light wiring issues Installation of kitchen light, outside light, dimmer switches Electrical test and inspection with accompanying condition reports

"I originally contacted Castle Electrical Services about 4 years ago regarding the replacement of some outdated electric storage heaters with a more modern version. John contacted me very quickly to arrange an appointment to view the property and discuss my requirements in detail. He was very professional and knowledgeable and provided some very useful advice. Both the quotation and the work were carried out in a timely manner and to a more than satisfactory level.

When I was in a position to replace the remainder of the electric storage heaters I had no hesitation in contacting John again to ask him to undertake the job. Once again, both quotation and work were carried out in a timely and satisfactory manner.

When I recently decided to move house, John was once again my first port of call for providing electrical testing and inspection on my old property. When I subsequently identified several electrical jobs requiring attention in my new property I contacted John and he quickly made an appointment to view the property and discuss my requirements. As usual, both the quotation and the work was carried out in a timely and professional manner. The work itself was carried out by Edddy and I can’t praise him highly enough.

Replacing of shower isolator switch done as a separate visit. Replacement of 3 external lights including junction boxes, replacement of one internal light an relocation of a socket

"Excellent service from start to finish, my shower switch was done within a week of me contacting them and the rest booked in for a few weeks later. Prices very acceptable, workman work masks and took shoes off even though I said they didn't need (as got washable floors). Very tidy work all rubbish taken with them. I will certainly use Castle Electrical again and recommend them to others."

Root cause analysis of electrical tripping fault. Problem made safe

"I've been delighted with the service that I received from Castle Electrical after I had been concerned with a number of electrical trip instances at my property.

Having described my situation, I was given clear instruction around how diagnosis would take place, including charging. An appointment was then booked within a few days.

The electrician, Eddie, methodically reviewed my sockets and quickly diagnosed the root cause. He took time to explain this to me in plain english and then gave me options around how the matter could be made safe and then further mitigated. We agreed the best plan and he was able to make the fix there and then.

This was a really professional and friendly experience and based on this, I would strongly recommend Castle to others. Thank you"

Replacement of bathroom lights, installation of two exterior lights and subsequently, to carry out an electrical EICR report on a rental property.

"Castle Electrical Services (John Wilson) offer a most reliable and professional service. Our enquiries were dealt with promptly, and communications throughout were excellent.

In fitting two exterior lights, John unexpectedly had to correct some existing wiring which had been incorrectly installed. Much expertise and experience was required to resolve the problem which involved working in a cramped loft with difficult access. I was very impressed with John’s diligence, thoroughness and dexterity! It was generous of him to hold to his original estimate considering the additional amount of time spent on resolving the problem
