"Removal from 4 bedroom house to 4 bedroom house, the removal men arrived at the specified time and worked hard from start to finish. They men were polite, professional and very helpful, my furniture was handled with care throughout the whole process. Delivery was the next day and the same team of men worked just as hard to complete my move. Very happy with the service provided and would highly recommend Glasgow Removals to family and friends."

I moved from a two bedroom top flat in Govan to a two bedroom bottom flat in Govan. I was delighted with the job done by Glasgow Removals. The crew were polite and very helpful. I was impressed with the efficiency and care shown with my belongings. I am less able than others and was looked after just fine by George and the boys. They pulled out the stops for me, even taking down my bed and rebuilding it free of charge. They placed the furniture in the appropriate rooms in the new house for me. I will recommend Glasgow Removals to my friends and anyone else contemplating a house move. Ten out of Ten lads...

"When I knew I was moving home I used a companies comparison site. Glasgow Removals were the most reasonable of all the companies I looked at and talked with. The move was an ordinary move from one large flat to a house. There were no big kitchen �white goods� but lots of smallmoveables. The movers packed for me. The lack of care of one employee in particular was appalling. The lack of care packing my small electrical goods was appalling. They were generally put at the bottom of boxes under many other things - some items are now broken: a DAB radio, some headphones, etc, etc.. The contempt with which my clothes were packed was extraordinary. Good knitwear and shirts are very crumpled beyond rescue. A favourite cup had it�s handle broken off.

"I asked several questions as the process went along, but they were not answered after I put the verbal order in. I was asking for confirmation as to the precise date of packing and the precise date for delivery, and whether the movers would provide materials as part of me paying for packing. When I rang the office, no one could answer and no one who could answer called me back.

The three guys who moved me physically could not have done enough for me: they were really excellent. It was a shame that they were under such pressure to finish the job quickly. They made a stressful day much, much easier.

The movers packed for me. The lack of care of one employee in particular was appalling. The other two were very careful, it seemed, polite and helpful. They used far too many boxes: this has made unpacking a long process, it also means that items were often not packed tightly enough so they could not move around.

The lack of care packing my small electrical goods was appalling. ( I believe this to have been the work of that particular employee.) Those electrical goods were generally put at the bottom of boxes under many other things - some items are now broken: a DAB radio, some headphones, etc, etc.. Many electronic items were not bubble-wrapped, and instead just wrapped in a single sheet of paper. Some books were very, very badly packed so they are bent and damaged; John did pack other books very well indeed. The boxes often were not packed so nothing could move around.

The contempt with which some of my clothes were packed was extraordinary. Good knitwear and even shirts are crumpled and creased beyond rescue. Expensive coats are badly creased and pressed into creases after 24 hours in their wardrobe boxes. A favourite cup had its handle broken off.

These bad examples have soured my attitude to the move as a whole."

Our move was within Glasgow which you would imagine would be straight forward enough but unfortunately there were problems along the way regarding our sale/buy (not the removal co.). But Glasgow removals were very patient and accommodating with us even at the last minute when we needed overnight storage. They were hard working removing everything so quickly but efficiently not a scratch or dent on anything. We enjoyed their funny banter which seem to calm us down as well! They covered carpets in the house that were staying and everything was well covered and packed in their lorry. They were very reasonable cost wise and even threw in free boxes & tape! I would definitely use them again and recommend them to others.

"The review of our house and quote was done quickly no big sales talk which is what I prefer. I collected the free boxes & tape from a really nice employee who offered more if I needed them. We were able to negotiate a time for them to pickup our prepacked items and they arrived ontime. A last minute change of plans meant storage was needed and they were able to accommodate us no problem at all. It was a stress free removal, moving items quick but carefully, nothing was damaged or broken. Always double checking with us what to move or not. The unloading was exactly the same experience. These guys get the job done no messing about. Their funny banter kept us calm much needed at a time like that! I would use Glasgow removals again but hopefully never moving ever again!! :) thanks!"

I Live in New Zealand and needed to arrange a move for my 90 year old mother who was living in Glasgow. This had to be done by me over the internet.

"I thought this was going to be a problem, trying to arrange a removal from the other side of the world. Not so. George Neil was excellent and kept me informed throughout the whole process with updates and prompt replies to any queries that I had.
The crew who visited my mother's house to pack the day before the move were excellent and my mother stated they were very polite and courteous.

" the movers were careful and considerate to the property and very helpful taking great care with delicate items. Very pleased with the service and especially they removal guys who were excellent.

Every aspect of the move was first class right from the very begining. George in sales is down to earth an approachable and clearly knows his business, no hard sales. Full house move from 3 x bedroom bungalow to 4 x bedroom house, also contents of garage and dismantled 8ft x 6ft garden shed

"We were extremely pleased by the professional manner in which Glasgow Removals office staff and the personnel who carried out our recent removal. We received a telephone call on day of removal to advise us that there vehicle was on it's way. When it arrived the driver and two porters then took over everything .organising room by room removal until house and garage completely empty. They them proceeded to new property and in reverse order refill house and garage. My total participation was to direct which room to deposit furniture into. The total experience was stress free for us and would have no hesitation to recommend Glasgow Removals to all my family and friends."
