Homebase

Homebase is delighted to be the first national DIY retailer to achieve the Government TrustMark Award. The Government's TrustMark trade association has bestowed its scheme operator award on Homebase for its kitchen installations service.

Homebase's kitchen installations offer was initially trialled in 60 stores and was so successful it was subsequently rolled out to all Homebase stores. To date, Homebase's kitchen offer has achieved a market-leading customer recommendation rate of 94%.

Billy Quinn, national installations manager said: "At Homebase we are committed to ensuring our customers have a great customer service experience provided locally and endorsed by a well-known brand. We are confident that our customers will benefit from the additional peace of mind and confidence that the TrustMark approval provides".

The TrustMark code of practice ensures that Homebase meets the stringent Government endorsed guidelines, which include 2-year guarantees, independent insurance and health and safety practice. Installers are continually monitored to ensure the quality of workmanship. Homebase offers a dedicated customer service support line to keep customers fully 'in the picture' and a customer survey two weeks after installation to gather feedback. The results of this feedback have helped to shape the installation service going forward.

TrustMark

TrustMark is a not for profit organisation, licensed by Government and supported by consumer protection groups, helping you find local, trustworthy & reliable tradesmen, operating to Government endorsed standards.

TrustMark is a quality mark which operates a framework under which 30 plus scheme operators working in the Repair, Maintenance and Improvement sectors are approved to carry the TrustMark logo and recruit reputable and trustworthy tradesmen.

All of these scheme operators are audited annually by TrustMark, to ensure processes, standards and complaints procedures are being maintained.
