At short notice Robinsons helped facilitate our removal from Nottingham. We were moving to a smaller property and the concern was our furniture would not all fit in. So at short notice Robinsons housed a number of items on an open ended basis until we could accommodate them.

"They were helpful both in taking them in, looking after them and delivering them to our new property. We paid by standing order on a monthly basis for storage and there was a handling charge and a delivery charge. All in all a good result they were helpful, polite , efficient and when they delivered from store the items were in the condition that they were in when they went to store."

Move into store, then to our new house some months later. it combined two moves via store into one and the two were coordinated well by John Robinson and team. Specifically no damage was incurred and two pianos were moved.

Moved across town. From a 2 bed to a 3 bed.

"The gent who came to give the quote was very friendly and efficient. The three gents who turned up on moving day were so helpful and so friendly. It's the first time we've ever used a removals company and this team really made it a positive experience. I would certainly be looking to Robinsons first, next time we need to move."

The move took place over two days a week apart. The teams were different but both hard working and helpful during an extremely stressful period. Robinsons also had to arrange the storage of the house contents ready for onward shipping to France. This was also organised by Robinsons.

"It was complicated by time pressures due to uncertainty over the exchange and completion dates. Robinsons were extremely helpful. The office staff were also helpful and polite.

Removal of household effects from a 4-bedroom house in Aylesbury, Bucks to a 6-bedroom property in Downham Market, Norfolk.

"The removal was arranged on a necessarily short timescale. Removers could not meet my initial deadline, but responded immediately when we were able to agree an alternative date. The company correctly anticipated an access problem for their large lorry at the arrival property and organised to offload its entire contents onto a smaller van for delivery, meaning that 5 smaller deliveries were required. The team was polite, good-humoured and professional in carrying out all this, and achieved it well within the specified deadline, to my immense satisfaction.

The office-based staff were similarly always helpful, and available to progress the operation without hold-ups."

Moved to a property five miles up the road. Had been let down by another company! Robinsons booked us in at very short notice.

"More than happy with the service provided. We had been let down by a company who we had booked back in February as in the end they couldn’t accommodate our date (due to the delay in exchanging contracts). We had only a week to find an alternative removal company, Robinsons were available on completion day, provided two vehicles, 3 hardworking men and we gwere all packed up by 11.30am. Keys were slightly delayed in their release but the vehicles were quickly offloaded and boxes placed in relevant rooms to our satisfaction. Would not hesitate to use them again (hopefully not as we don’t intend to move again) or recommend to others - a thoroughly professional service, which was most appreciated after the seven months of hell leading up to moving!! Thank you"

Robinsons moved us from Hertfordshire to Gloucestershire over two days, collecting on a a Thursday and delivering on a Friday. The freezer was loaded last and plugged in to their depot electricity supply overnight. It was the first item off the lorry on the Friday. Also there were some particularly heavy and awkward items which did not bother them one iota.

"We found the office staff both professional and friendly and the same would apply to the two removal crew(s) covering both days. I can not praise them highly enough. They were cheery, helpful and prepared to go the extra mile and were a real credit to their employer."

"The move was over 3 days, day 1 was packing most of our goods, day 2 was finishing the packing, travelling to the Isle of Wight and starting the unpacking whilst day 3 was finishing the unpacking.

Our move was from Aylesbury to Malvern, the equivalent of a 3 room detached house. The house in Malvern, although located on a minor road with good access to the property, was challengingdue to the driveway being on the corner of two roads. These roads appear to have become a short cut for drivers and consequently it was difficult to ensure the safety of road users and the operatives. This was manged very skillfully and effectively using signage and parking the large vehicle safely, with enough access to empty the van

"My overall experience of my dealings with the company was very satisfactory. They were prompt in dealing with my house visit and quotation and followed up effectively. My overall initial impression was that of an experienced, knowledgeable and professional company. This was exceptional I believe, in regard to the difficulties encountered due to the pandemic.

When the team arrived on the removal day they were punctual, polite and careful and advised that they might also be able to load some items that I assumed I would need to take in my car such as some garden plants etc.

The delivery of the furniture was also carried out carefully, with excellent punctuality by the same team, with an extra man. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble in placing furniture in specific rooms up a somewhat awkward staircase. I have nothing but praise for the move."
