The 2 guys were lovely and there was no problem moving out of the property. However, it was a very hot day and lots of heavy furniture had to be moved to a 3rd floor flat which was difficult for just 2 guys. In the end they called for reinforcements and all was fine.

I had a two part move which meant that my belongings had to go into storage for a few days in order for the sale to complete before my buyers’ mortgage offer expired. I knew of the firm because they had moved my son in October last year and I was present at that move and was very impressed with the service they provided From my very first conversation with Andy I knew that I was going to use them for my move and even though I had booked them before the exchange of contracts and had to cancel those dates as it didn’t happen then. Once my completion date was confirmed the firm booked my move and subsequent delivery to their storage depot. Then a week later they delivered my belongings very carefully and considerately. It was a very hot day!

Moving from Dorset to Gloucestershire has been quite an experience for me because I had to use the Maidmans storage facilities for a period of 6 weeks before I could move into my new house. Maidmans made this transition so easy and took all the stress away from that part of the awful experience of selling and buying another property. They packed everything and it was well packed, so no breakages.

Move from old thatched cottage with difficult access to the next county. Large antique furniture, difficult to manoeuvre and heavy. Many pieces of art. Garden ornaments and furniture.

The move took a whole week due to dismantling of a shed and access issues at the beginning house. Exhausting but we all made it! 80 odd boxes collected when the items from storage were delivered 2 weeks later thank goodness. Many things in the garage which were really for the garden but got there in the end. 2 broken pots and a lampshade in situ! Pleasant and hard working staff, punctual, informative, tidy etc. Thanks to all concerned. Not again for a long time I hope!
