Full packing service insurance and delay waiver added. Moving 94 year old mother from Essex to the Scottish Highlands ... Lots of fragile bits and nothing broken.

"Everything went to schedule and the guys were great. A job well done. Cannot really write an essay on this containing anything more than stated above. Job was done well, on time, as per schedule, nice guys good communication ... Would recommend as the expense was worth it - and would definitely recommend the full packing service."

Move from 3rd floor flat with no lift to first floor maisonette.

"Prompt first day arrival to start packing and left us with survival requirements for the weekend. Early arrival on moving day and van loaded by 9am. There was a long delay in completion and collection of keys. The team was extremely patient and move in started at 3pm. All unloaded and carried upstairs by 4.15. Remarkable job done."

Transport of goods from Port to storage facility. Goods had already Bern packed and shipped from.NZ.

"The guys doing the actual moving of the goods were fantastic.
The communication while goods were in transit was also very good.

My only criticism relates to not receiving any information once goods left the customs' procedure. I had to ring/email to find out when delivery might actually take place. In the end I only had a few working days notice."

This is the second time we have used White & Co they are very professional and get the job done. Your sofas are covered in a bag and they protect the floors. They are prompt and very efficient. On both occasions the crew were very friendly and communicated well. I would say they are very competitively priced in today’s market offering extra insurance if you require this for peace of mind.

"We contacted them by telephone and was offered the next available survey for our house move. The survey is done on a video link which extreme detail to every section in each room, the surveyor asks many questions as you go from room to room. They also check what the accessibility is like from your property and to the new home. They offer various services if you would like them to dismantle furniture for you and then remantle at the other end. Packing materials are available and clothing carriers if you require. They call day before to check all is ok and advise you what time they will arrive with you the next morning. On arrival they come into your house check all the rooms to see what needs moving then they prepare any floors and cover furniture as necessary. Once all your furniture is on the van they double check the destination then meet you at your new home. They arrived very promptly again assessed the new house checked where we wanted everything then started to unload. Once done they asked us if we were happy where everything was placed, when all ok they wished us well in our new home and left."

A long distance move from Essex to North Yorkshire. At the destination access was limited by road width and steepness of the hill. White & Co used a smaller vehicle to ferry stuff from the lorry to the property. This went very smoothly. Normal amount of furniture but lots of books and garden/garage stuff.

"Overall very good.
Survey was with Zoom - not sure if this is the best way but it suffices.
The ‘industry standard’ on insurance is bizarre. Only covering items up to £40 unless more is paid. Hardly anything is less than £40. So basically no insurance unless you pay more.
The removal team were polite, hardworking and very efficient. Offering advice on where to put stuff and in packing many items in to boxes.
They used protective covering in the hallway but not elsewhere, so some parts of both houses did get a bit grubby.
Items were positioned in rooms as requested and beds were re-assembled correctly.

House to house move

"As a military dependant for 12 years and with moving into 8 different houses, this has been far the best crew I've come across.

I'm not sure of how much you know about my situation, but I moved due to a marriage breakdown and on top of everything else that comes with this situation, a move 200 miles away is most probably the most stressful bit and I really wasn't looking forward to it.

The crew were an absolute God-send. Extremely polite and professional and took very good care of my personal belongings. This is the first time I've not needed to claim against my insurance for damages. I really feel like they needed a bit of recognition.

Thankyou very much for everyone's help. Its much appreciated."

"Took 3.5 months to arrive (quicker than expected) and all boxes wrapped professionally and all my items came through intact. Driver was very helpful and friendly dropping them at my place in the UK. Would use them again."

Pack, store and and transport roughly 60% of belongings (furniture/books/kitchenware/art/clothing) for international relocation to Oslo, Norway

"I couuld not be happier with the service I received from White's and their conduct of our move. From my initial inquiry requesting a quotation for the work their response had been consistently swift, courteous and helpful. The provided a highly competitve but detailed quotation following a thorough survey of the items to be packed and moved. They provided incredibly clear advice about the process involved in moving overseas and the specific rules applying to our destination of Norway. On the day of packing the team were incredibly professional and efficient, theu treated my belongings with great respect and worked seemmlessly with our building's concierge service. For unforseen reasons our move date was delayed by several weeks but Whites were highly accommodating and helpful in storing things safely and at no extra cost. The eventual delivery was as efficient and impressive as packing. The lorry and team arrived from the UK at the agreed time and were quick and professional in their unloading. Household move in from another country. White''s were engaged by my main shippers to deal with the inbound UK side of it all

"White & Co received my shipment of furniture and personnel possessions that I had sent over from another country, who then commissioned White to take care of the UK end. White's arranged storage for me and then delivered on the day requested. They were always friendly and courteous. Shipping of personal goods from Asia to the UK

"Very happy with the overall shipping. The estimated delivery date, which can always change, was close enough. The goods all appear to be undamaged. The team that collected and packed the goods were quick and courteous and the team that delivered the goods at the destination were friendly, handled the goods with care and had everything brought in as best could be. We had quite a strategic nightmare on our hands recently, moving from London to Newent, with an additional pick up along the route.

"We had quite a strategic nightmare on our hands recently, moving from London to Newent, with an additional pick up along the route. We had to pack and move a two-bedroom flat that we had lived and started a family in for two years as well as a garage of ready packed boxes that had been unopened from our move from South Africa two years prior. And we left the organisation of this all until very late.

Craig and Sally from White & Co were quick off the mark, thorough and extremely helpful throughout the whole process. They were also reasonably priced considering the distance we had to move.
Our movers on the day - Ramon, Freddy and Ben - were very professional, pleasant, considerate and respectful of our belongings.

Should we move again, there would be no need to look any further for movers. We would HIGHLY recommend White & Co, what excellent service!"
