Please accept our apologies for the belated thank you letter; as you will appreciate, moving home (in our case twice within 14 months) is an extremely stressful and time-consuming endeavour.

Our latest move in December was the third time we�ve had the pleasure of using your company and we�ve come to rely on your teams� outstanding service, efficiency and good humour throughout.

The way in which all of your folk go about their business is a credit to your company and invaluable to those of us in need of your services. Everyone was punctual, polite, hard-working, considerate and generally a pleasure to be involved with.

Ours was (for us) a long distance move from one end of the country to the other and collecting items from different locations along the way. There were a great many things that could have gone wrong but that Bournes would deliver an excellent removal service was never in doubt. Literally, we would not be here in our new home without you!

We moved from the UK mainland to the Isle of Wight. The size of the house move was quite large both being 4 bedroom properties.

"The moving details were handled very efficiently by all at Bournes.
Special mention must be made to the Bournes representative who with his professional and friendly manner convinced us to use Bournes despite receiving cheaper quotes.
Come the moving period, over 3 days we were so pleased that we had obviously chosen an excellent company. Nothing was too much trouble for the hard working men at either house. They worked well as a team, always with a smile. A real asset to their company."

We moved a short distance of ten minutes to a neighbouring village. Our contents went into store for two months while we rented nearby.

We moved both a house as well as a workshop from the UK to New Zealand. The workshop had lots of bulky machinery as well as delicate materials

"We would strongly recommend Bournes as a company. Nothing was too much hassles especially as we had lots of questions. Moving across the world is very stressful and they made it as easy as possibly blue from the start
The support of as great and the staff brilliant. Everything was done to time.
The packing process was incredibly thorough and careful which was very reassuring. The office kept us up to speed with how/ when delivery was going to be.
Although slightly more expensive than some companies you do get what you pay for and we would recommend them to everyone"

We were moving from the UK to Singapore to join our son and his family. The skill and expertise of the Bournes team in the UK and their partner in Singapore (Classic Moving and Storage) made this stress-free. It took two days to pack, wrap and load our possessions into the container. This was done in an expert and careful manner and at both ends the teams were careful to protect floors and walls. Nothing was broken or damaged and when we unpacked we had the surprise of finding things we had long forgotten we owned or had intended to dump!

"We had obtained three quotes for the move and found Bournes to be the most open, up front and believable.

Obviously a move at our age (70) was a bit traumatic but the move manager was very helpful in explaining our many queries and concerns. The team in Singapore dealt with Customs clearance. So all we had to do was sit back and let them get on with it. Which they did with great skill. We would have no hesitation in recommending them."

"Great care taken re estimating the job and a competitive price. Move was over two days. We packed all items excluding fragile pictures and glassware. Very helpful moving team who showed great patience in waiting 5 hours at new address for keys to become available. A very good experience.No breakages ."

"Very courteous staff. Now that I think of it, I wish I would have provided food and drinks since the gentlemen worked so hard. The move coordinator was also very nice to deal with and made sure to keep communication throughout the whole process. I am very impressed. Thank you very much"
