Our move requirements kept changing but this didn''t put the team off. We needed to move into a rental property but every time we thought we had sorted this we discussed items for storage and move then lost the rental. Finally a property and date agreed but storage needed to be increased and move was much less as the property was much smaller than our home. Some things got mixed up but one can manage without 3 bags of coat hangers and Cd''s when a radio is available. We opted for the full packing service, move to storage and house with a future date to move everything back again.

We were moving some of our things from North Yorkshire to the South and similarly some things from the South to North Yorkshire. A long roundabout trip that required experienced hands and an overnight stay-over!

The move consisted of the collection of household items from the north of England with delivery to East Anglia. Collection was on the day preceding the delivery. Everything went very smoothly and exactly as planned.

Have moved several times and this time was challenging due to on off completion,

The move was from a 3-bedroom true bungalow in Norton (Stockton-on-Tees) to a 3-bedroom dormer bungalow in Blackpool. This was, effectively, a move right across the country from the east to the west coast – approx. 122 miles. So, not a local move! Because of the distance, the move took place over three days – day 1 (21/06): half a day to move items into temporary storage; day 2 (24/06): a day to finish emptying the house, drive to Blackpool and start unloading; day 3 (25/06): half a day to finish unloading / complete the job. Besides household items, the move included a complete home gym: a weight-lifting rack, Olympic free weights and bars, dumbbells and storage rack, an exercise bike, and a treadmill. All of these were heavy, and sometimes, large, and unwieldy items. There were also three new kitchen appliances that were still in their original packing: an American fridge / freezer, an induction hob and built-in oven. All fragile, heavy, and awkward to move items. In addition, there were 73 (medium size) boxes of books. These contained 965 signed first editions. When moving / transporting these boxes, it needed a great deal of care to avoid any risk of impact damage to these valuable books. Ten or so potted plants and shrubs, along with the contents of our tool shed (hand, power, and garden tools), also formed part of the inventory.

Two moves were involved, first move was from the rental property, the second move was from the unit we rented off Richardson’s to the purchased property.

Movement of some items from one old and difficult property to another similarly old property, as well as transfer of excess items into storage.

Move from a large bungalow to a smaller bungalow, 5 miles away. Some packing of antique and delicate items was required. All packed efficiently and carefully, with particular care of old and fragile items.

We were needing a company to pack up our home in Newcastle, keep our stuff in storage for 6 months and deliver back into our new home in Teesside.
