Simon came very promptly to look at our hot water tank. It is quite a difficult space to work in being in the airing cupboard with confined space but he changed the thermostat and resited the clock to a more convenient place.

"He did a complete safety check to finish and we are very pleased with the work. It was a pleasure to have him in the house. A very prompt, clean and efficient friendly service. Highly recommended."

"Simon recently carried out a full electrical survey of our property, details of rectification required were itemised before work commenced.
Work included replacement of the existing consumer unit and components, numerous wiring faults were rectified, all work was carried out in a professional manner and certification issued in accordance with regulatory requirements.
We have had no defects since Simon finished work, he carried out his work with minimal intrusion and we found him to be a honest and trustworthy character, highly recommended."

- All lights, both inside and outside the house, changed for modern equivalents (including re-wiring and re-positioning where required) - Make relevant updates to the consumer board. - Install outdoor plug sockets. - Run an outdoor socket to the back of the garden. - Fix/install extractor fans in all bathrooms.

"I used Glenfield Electrics to undertake a lot of electrical work on the lighting both internally and externally. Outdoor sockets were installed and power sent to the bottom of the garden etc.

Throughout the entire process, Simon was fantastic! We cannot recommend him highly enough!

Simon was incredibly efficient, tidy, friendly and communicated every stage of the works to us. The advice and recommendations given during the work were hugely valuable and enabled us to make better decisions about the work carried out.

Simon was very reliable, always letting us know he was on the way and arriving at the exact time he promised. We joked that we could set our watches by his knock on the door!

We always felt reassured that the work carried out and the advice given was of the highest quality and coming from somebody with a wealth of experience.

We are really pleased with the process and the result and so we would not hesitate in recommending Simon and Glenfield Electrics."

I had 2 main lights that needed moving into the centre of the room. They were located by the window as was tradition in older houses and so Simon moved them to the middle.

"Simon was fantastic, he arrived on time and did everything to keep the house clean and tidy whilst working and after completing the job. He was thorough with his work and when realising there may have been discrepancies as to what I wanted he clarified with me. The final work was outstanding and I would highly recommend him. I have used him in the past and will absolutely use him for future projects and work."

"Excellent and relatable service, user for installing an EV charger and was very friendly and helpful, reasonably priced and prompt.
Came to so as much work as possible before the distribution company completed their work and was very prompt to come back and complete post the work.
Very respectful, tidy and considerate, came with sheet and completely tidied up with hover after work inside completed.
All documentation and certificates issued promptly and helped ensure hub and charger all set up before leaving.

"This is the 2nd time I have used Simon this year and cannot recommend highly enough. He could quite easily have replaced lights that actually didnt need replacing and made the job a lot more expensive but instead he sorted out the job for a fraction of the cost and replaced just the necessary parts and cleaned the existing lights so they looked brand new. Everything was perfect as on the previous work he did. Completely honest and trustworthy, tidy, clean and does a brilliant job always going that extra mile."

Removal of an integrated electric oven and installation of a new one with different electric supply requirements.

"Excellent level of service provided. Contacted Glenfield Electrics as I needed to replace an integrated electric oven. My old oven had different power ratings to the new one. Simon from Glenfield Electrics removed my old oven and fitted the new one and changed the breaker in the consumer unit. He thoroughly tested the electrical system and certificated his work.
Simon was very thorough and conscientious and I would definitely use Glenfield Electrics again."

Glenfield Electrics fitted a globe shaped lampshade in a vaulted ceiling and swoped two light switches, enabling a room to have a dimmer switch instead of fixed.

"Simon was very professional throughout giving a full quotation and detail of the works to be carried out. He arrived on time and was very considerate of my house, placing shoe covers on without me having to ask. He kept the work area covered and very tidy.
