Fit new recessed spotlights in living room. Change outside lights and bathroom lights. Remove electrical supply from garage. Change various bulbs elsewhere

"Paul arrived punctually both to give me a quote and on the two days he worked here. He was very polite and had a friendly manner. He was extremely tidy. He explained fully what he was doing throughout the day/s. He completed the work on schedule and for the agreed price. I could not fault him in any way and would thoroughly recommend him."

Replace and reset LED spotlights to 2 bedrooms and bathroom. Provide and install replacement extractor fan/light with ducting etc to bathroom shower.

"As usual service was professional and very well installed in difficult conditions due to installing ducting in eaves. Paul explains in depth each step in the the work he carries out which is always of a very high standard."

"Spoke to Paul the electrician regarding putting up some coloured lights for the back patio. Paul kindly explained the different types we could have and gave us the option of buying ourselves for him to fit or for him to fit and supply. Paul explained the different lights we could have and we opted to buy them ourselves and for him to fit. Paul gave us several options on how and where would be the best places to fit the lights. Paul was extremely helpful. He offered us an installation date that was acceptable to us. He was on time and fully prepared for the job and Covid aware. He was clean and tidy and polite. Always willing to answer any questions we had. He was very patient as i could not decide where to put the switch and i did not feel rushed at all. He made sure I was happy with everything before leaving. I received the bill via email the same day. The process for paying him was so very quick and easy. I would most certainly recommend him to friends and family should they need an electrician."

Fix the light fittings in the living room

"First of all the website stood out to me as very professional and easy to use.

Paul called me back within a few hours of me submitting the webform with the work request.

Paul outlined exactly how long he thought the work would take, when he was available to complete the job, a price for the work and some advice on how we could address one of the issues I had presented.

The advice was invaluable to us and meant that the work request was actually scaled down in the end and Paul was great about the change in request.

On the day Paul was friendly, on time, tidy and presented himself very professionally, he talked me through what he intended to do and covered everything that was necessary to fix the lights once he had completed the work.

The payment process was easy and very user friendly.

Great service from Helix electrical from start to finish, we cannot recommend Paul and the company enough."

Removing, after disconnecting, all under and over lighting to kitchen cupboard units. Checking circuits and correcting wiring. Fixing new lighting units and connecting up.

"This contractor arranged to commence work at 0800 hours and was punctual.
He worked methodically thought the morning, and made a very good job of installing the new light fittings.
On completion, he had industrial sized, anti bacterial wipes, which he used to clean all surfaces in the kitchen.
An excellent and experienced electrician.
I would recommend this contractor to anyone.

"Paul turned up on time , he was covid friendly, carried out the work very professionally and kept us informed of each stage of work, he cleared up after himself everything was left clean and tidy. Paul was initially recommended to us to carry out an electrical survey of a property we were in the process of purchasing. His appraisal was very thorough and highlighted many faults which required rectifying. At the time of the survey some elements had to be isolated to make the property safe for the vendor. Following receipt of his report after the electrical survey, works were agreed and date arranged. The works have now been carried out.

"Paul responded quickly to changes outside of our control and remained flexible. He was very professional throughout and as this was the first time we had used his services, we felt very comfortable. He kept us updated on issues found, made suggestions and thoroughly explained the updates. At the end of the initial agreed works, he used his knowledge and experience to provide advice and suggestions for the future works which we have planned.
We would gladly recommend Paul and look forward to using his services in the future."

"Helix electrical provided a great level of service along with a faultless install. On initial contact they gave me a time and assured me of how they would quote and approach the work if successful. The work was carried out in a very professional manor at all times and I would have no hesitation in having them back for further works or recommending them to others to have any electrical work carried out. Extra plug in the kitchen wall above the breakfast bar

"Paul did a great job installing an extra plug in the kitchen for us today.
Following the COVID procedures of mask and distance, he entered the property and gave us all the options we could have on the plug, where it could go and how much it will cost. Upon agreeing to the quote we left him to it and he completed the work in the time frame given and to a brilliant finish.
We are very happy with the work done, and impressed with the tidy up at the end.
Would recommend Paul to anyone that needs electrical work done, we would certainly use him again when we need something else done."

Paul of Helix Electrical carried out 2 jobs for me recently. He installed outdoor lights on the side and at the rear of my garage. He also installed a large tv in my lounge on my wall. Both jobs were done to the highest of standards. Paul did a fantastic job, he was clean, tidy, professional and incredibly knowledgeable. The invoicing system was easy too and everything from start to finish, from quoting to installation to payment was seamless. I would recommend Paul and Helix in a heartbeat.
