Replacement electric meter, rewiring and few socket repairs.

"Kamran spent the whole day in my flat to replace my electric meter and reparing sockets and wires as instructed by my landlord. I was not there as I was working on that day and had no worries at all to leave my keys to him. I received a little video at the end of the day, showing me all the work done which, I think was really lovely. The work was perfectly done, quickly and the flat was left clean. Kamran was very helpful and gave me a lot of tips. I would definitely recommend this company and will call them again, should I need."

After finishing the job the electrician checked the whole electric circuit.

Investigation of a partial power failure. Installation of a new cable using trunking as walls were suspected of being damp. Installation of a modern fusebox.

"Rik Engineering came quickly the same evening, reacting to an emergency power failure. They tested every socket and appliance. They returned to install the new cable.
They worked quickly and took few breaks. They were polite and careful to cause as little disruption as possible, which is difficult in a small flat. They cleahred away all rubbish and left everything clean and tidy."

updated the fusebox, installed a new fusebox and fuses, installed switches in the kitchen for the cooker/oven, installed new sockets in the kitchen, provided with certificate and tests all populated

"very friendly and helpful in many ways and flexible, yet unreliable - did not always come when said, miscommunication for example not telling me which cupboard to clear before starting work (I had to get rid of the saw dust crumbs in my crockery and cupboard), not clear about price and time beforehand, no bill that states exactly what was charged for, took a very long time and got everything done last minute, did not do all testing only when pressured and prompted, everything done very last minute (I had a given time from the freeholder/landlord who wanted to see the Certificate before the switch-over), lots of stress running after the electrician"

New CCU (fusebox) fitted. Various other electrical work to bring everything up to the required standard for the certificate.

"I chose Rik Engineering from looking at their website and then speaking to him on the phone. The reason I used this particular firm was(a)the quote was reasonable and(b)they are local.

Kamran was courteous, efficient and very hard working. I have already recommended him to one of my friends and will, I'm sure, pass his details on to others."

RIK helped us with a Electrical condition report and the Part P .

"RIK Engineering are by far the best electricians I have ever used. I had the pleasure of working with a gentleman called Cameran. I was really in a rush to get the work done, and after calling up several people, Cameran was able to come to my house on the very next day. Not only that, but his price quote for the work was one of the most fair I'd seen. I agreed to let him take the job. I needed to get a completion certificate for my extension, and initially, the council were being difficult with me and requesting further documents. Cameran from RIK went out of his way to help me and make sure that I was 100% satisfied. He was so friendly and helpful with me and my family. My wife hates it when electricians come round to the house as they always make a mess but RIK was VERY TIDY and cleaned up everything before he left. He would take my annoying phonecalls and answer immediately in an extremely professional way, whether I call him at 9AM or 10:30pm in the evening. He stuck with me till the very end and made sure that I was happy. He was very reliable, and would always stick to his word - unlike other electricians I have experienced in the past. If Cameran says that he will do something for you on a certain day, then know it will definitely be done on that day and never later. I was in a rush and it was so nice to have someone who understood my needs and worked with me to make sure I was satisfied . I will definitely be using RIK Engineering again, and STRONGLY recommend them to anyone."

"They changed the consumer unit and checked all the flat to be sure everything is ok in terms of electricity. They gave us certificates for every work they have done, explaining everything so we can understand what was done and what we should do in order to maintain the electric installation and the appliances safe. They are real professionals and we would kindly recommend this firm as we will confidently ask for their services whenever needed.
