"Our experience with GHE Solar was great from start to finish. They were also prompt and helpful in their communications with us. They were flexible in accommodating to our needs and listened when we had suggestions for the work. They stuck to the price originally quoted. The workmen they got in were also really great - they clean and tidy. they kept us well-informed about when they would be coming and what they would be doing that day. Once they had finished the installation, we had a small issue with a broken sensor. They were back within a few days and fixed it for us with no problems or fuss. Overall, would highly recommend."

"Delighted with the service. GHE responded quickly to initial enquiries, came to site for a survey promptly and got the work scheduled. The only hiccup we had was battery availability but this was global supply problem as batteries are far more economically viable than they used to be. An alternative was found and we were kept informed.

The installation is performing brilliantly. We aren't quite self-sufficient in electricity but estimate that we're around 75% there.

Would recommend.

"We choose GHE Solar mainly because of their experience, they have been trading for many years and it was clear from the first call they understand the technology.
I have read reviews where people had issues following the install, especially with the HeatPump, this was a significant investment for us so choosing the right company was really important. They weren't the cheapest quote but the whole experience from the original call through site survey, design and install was fantastic. I have already recommended them to friends, great service!"

I had a full system put in by GHE solar. Namely two solar collector panels, all the ''nuts and bolts'' of the system, a new tank and a Nest Controller.

"From the very first point of contact, I had full confidence in GHE. They were so kind and patient with me, being a lady of a certain age, I didn't fully understand the process or system. They held my hand the whole way, being curteous, professional, tidy and efficient. Even after the system had been installed I had difficulty in understanding it (not that it was complicated, it was just me!) but immediately Paul was sent around and was an absolute Angel in talking me through it yet again. From every department, initial survey through to installation,the ladies in the accounts and technical help (always at the end of the phone). I don't have any reservations in fully recommending. The feeling of hot water, powered by the sunshine is wonderful....Thank you GHE!"

"Contacted a few firms as part of the Green funding scheme. GHE were the quickest and most efficient at getting back to me, doing the survey and then organising the work.

They had taken on some more staff so the job was done sooner than originally booked just in time for the sunny weather hopefully. I must admit it was a bigger job than I expected but the team seemed to work quickly and efficiently. They were COVID secure, helpful, friendly, polite and cleared up afterwards.

I would recommend them to anyone."

"From the beginning the company has been exemplary in regard to communication, installation and customer care.

Their extended team are of the highest calibre, whether it be heating, electrics, roofing, admin or scaffolding.

It's so important when people come to your house to feel comfortable with them and if any issues are raised to know the senior staff are aware minute by minute and working on it to resolve things, is crucial.

A fantastic company and one I will look out for in the future."

"From start to finish, GHE Solar have been exemplary. We have had constant communication with them whilst applying for the Green Homes Grant and they always reply swiftly with any query, question or concern we or the people at GHG have. When we finally got one measure approved from the GHG, they were able to organise a vast array of people (plumbers, electricians, roofers) to install our solar thermal panels and tank extremely quickly. There was a slight error where the new tank that was ordered was too big, but they sorted it immediately with no delay to the overall timetable.
They also organised someone to come and explain to us in detail how the new system works and answered all our idiot questions with patience and understanding. We are so pleased with their entire service - we cannot recommend them enough.

94 sq metres of Loft Insulation installed. Cost below is total cost and my share 1/3rd of this as part of the Green Homes Grant scheme.

"It was difficult to get a quote as part of the Green Homes scheme. This company was one of only three companies that even bothered to respond to my interest.

This company seemed better from the start with a friendly discussion on the first call which was followed up the same day by a very efficient online form that allowed me to upload the photos needed for a remote survey of the job (which was perfect due to the COVID lockdown.) A formal quote was sent just over a week after this remote survey was completed. I had a number of questions on this quote which were very well answered by Howard (their technical consultant). I accepted the quote and was given an installation date.

Unfortunately, I was contacted by Howard about a week before installation to be advised that the encapsulated loft insulation that I had requested was no longer available from their suppliers. Both Howard and myself spent a few days checking similar products from other vendors and GHE Solar was very flexible and went out of their way to approve a product from a new vendor and to re-quote me. Through no fault of GHE Solar, this quote was too high and I reverted to standard Loft Insulation.

Communication with Ryan, Janet and Howard are to be commended throughout the process of my purchase. The installation team arrived exactly on time and were finished by the time originally indicated. The job was done professionally and everything remained tidy and clean and all COVID rules were followed.

I recommend this company for Loft Insulation and I will also utilise them to install Heating Controls."

"The team at GHE Solar Ltd have done an really excellent job installing new insulation and full floorboars in my loft. They provided a great service all round. I used to dread going up into my dirty loft, but it has become a very usable and useful storage space in my semi-detached house.

Loft Insulation & Solar Thermal

"Loft Insulation - The two fitters arrived and quickly started the installation. Once completed they left the surrounding area clean & tidy ready for a final inspection by me before leaving. This was completed in one day.

Solar Thermal - The two fitters arrived and after a walk around the house to show where equipment was planned to be installed they started the installation. Once completed and they had commissioned the system they left the surrounding area clean & tidy ready for a final inspection by me before leaving. Prior to the main installation happening a carpenter arrived to build a base for the new water cylinder. We then had an electrician to put a spur next to the cylinder to run the new system and while the main installation was going on we had two roofers installing the roof panels. The main installation took two days.

All the guys did a really great job and were a pleasure to have in the house.
I would recommend GHE Solar Ltd.
