I sold my flat and bought house through them. That sold for 201,000 house brought for 320,000.
 

"Sometimes had to chase agent several times. I feel that once an offer was accepted, they went off the radar, unless they saw a problem that would jeopardise their commission. They did not return phone calls. I can’t say they’re terrible because I know some agents are a lot worse. John Whiteman & Co are deceitful for example. "I felt we weren't kept update enough about the ongoing issues with the vendors property & was told it doesn't effect us. Of course it did, we might not of got the house we wanted. Over the cause of 7 months we received no more that phone call, most of which weren't returned when I asked. Towards the end as it became increasingly stressful I called to ask what was happening & to say I was frustrated to then be told "you must understand I am just as frustrated my commission is in this sale.” Does a first time buyer or anyone in fact really need/want to hear that?!
