"Alex was dealt with us clearly and fairly. The sale nearly came undone in the early stages and he dealt with the awkward issues decisively and carefully.

In fact without his efforts the sale could have easily fallen through.

I felt although of course he is acting for the vendor that he dealt with both parties very evenly.

We have had dealings with a number of agencies in the course of trying to buy a property and there are only a handful that I would consider for use when it comes to selling. Due to Alex's hard work and thoughtful approach Drivers and Norris will definitely be on our extremely short list!

"From the first time that I met the two gentlemen who dealt with the sale of our property, I knew that I was dealing with an honest, reliable and reputable estate agency.
Throughout the process I was fully informed by telephone, email and letters.
They always replied promptly to my calls and always assisted me with any problems that needed solving.
They were extremely polite and very professional and I would definitely recommend them to my friends and even use them again, when I want to sell my own property."

"-Took trouble to find out our exact needs.
-Was able to arrange viewing immediately and arrange for seller to cease marketing pending our exchange of contracts.
-Acted as effective intermediary between seller, purchaser and the solicitors involved and was able to navigate us past a potential impasse.
-Although I am aware that the sales agent acts for the seller it felt throughout that he was looking out for our interests as much as for his client.
- Overall a service above and beyond (as they say in the Army). He certainly had to work hard for the commission!
- I have never used D&N before but would certainly do so again (although I hope that we will never have to move again!)"

"I would like to say how hard Alex worked, not only to secure the sale but in making sure that the property was looked after ( putting the heating on in the cold weather etc..) As I do not live in the area and this was a probate sale this was extremely helpful. I would recommend Drivers & Norris to anyone who needed to sell a property in this area."

Three bedroom flat on second floor of period mansion block.

"We found the service provided to be less than satisfactory and now that we have moved into the property have found that nearly all items discussed with the seller and firm were incorrect/not truthful. It took far longer to get information back from the firm and seller than expected and we were pushed to accept a moving in date that was later rearranged to be months later. I appreciate that its 'buyers aware' when purchasing a property but we were not aniticpating having to pay for damp that we were told by the firm had been treated along side a new washing machine (the 'new one' left behind was broken) plus there was no hot water at the property and accoring to the plumber hadn't been for over 8 months. All of these items were listed in the property information form incorrectly and we were mislead by our estate agent when asking more about them. We were not satisfied with Drivers and Norris and will not be using them again or refering them ."
