At Thomas & Rawson we have been providing Independent, Sales and Letting services to Vendors and Landlords of residential properties, for over 30 years now. Over this time, we have established and developed a reputation with our clients, for great Customer Service, Honesty and Integrity, in everything we do.

The house is situated in an elevated part of Swanage, with a beautiful outdoor living space and expansive views of the green hills. The house is a modern, 3/4 bedroom house with an open-planned dining and living room and a high spec kitchen. All inbuilt furniture throughout the house is of the highest quality and the master en-suite bedroom is very spacious with a separate vanity room, and dressing room.

"This is the first time we have ever used an agency to let out the property.
The Agency is extremely professional and knowledgeable in its field.
The Agency recommended a Company they use to conduct a professional photoshoot of the house, which in turn lead to an attractive marketing campaign of the property.
They kept us informed with credible people who expressed interest in viewing the property.
The chosen tenants for the house were vetted comprehensively and it was a very smooth process letting the house.
The communication has been excellent with the tenants in terms of any household issues which needed attending to via the Agency.

"I have been working with Thomas and Rawson Estate & Letting Agents now for a number of years. I have found their staff to be highly responsive to any request for information, proactive in terms of keeping me up to date with changes relating to government property rules and regulations and, above all, very astute at choosing reasonably priced suppliers and contractors on the occasions when repair or maintenance work is required on the house. They have also demonstrated that they know how to vet and select appropriate tenants, as the record with me shows. Absolutely no complaints in that regard.

In short, a professionally run outfit with good interpersonal skills and a strong sense of commitment to serving their customers.

"We were relocating from London during the Lockdown and we were struggling to figure out how to travel back and forth with 3 little children to view houses. Thomas & Rawson understood our situation and enabled us to do virtual touring. Everything was handled professionally from the beginning to the end. Moving is stressful but we were stress-free and had peace knowing that everything is under control.

"Thomas and Rawson have looked after the renting out of my flat for the last 16 years. I can thoroughly recommend them. I was looking to make my experience as a landlord as stress-free as possible and can say without hesitation that Peter, Tonie and Barbara do a fantastic job. It hasn't been an easy job for them as there have been repair works going on at the property frequently, and changes of tenants, but they are always on top of the work and have a reliable team of workmen who work at reasonable rates. I found Peter and his colleagues to be extremely professional and helpful at all times. Peter was particularly good at finding the right tenants for the property. Any issues I experienced during eight years of 'partnership' were minor in nature and straightforward to resolve.

The only reason I am ceasing my relationship with the company is because I have decided to sell the property. My brother still employs the services of this agency.

Spacious 2bed Ground floor flat central to the town centre. Ideal walking distance for food and general shopping. Private parking area with no through route for general traffic. Well looked after home.

"I have been delighted with the service from all staff at Thomas and Rawson. I was contacted about this property after enquiries about properties they had available.

I was greeted upon arrival at the property for a viewing. While viewing the property I knew this was exactly what I had been looking for. I expressed my interest in wanting this property but due to receiving support through the council I needed to liase with them first. I was assured that no other booking had been made and they gave me sufficient time to contact my council before making any payments in regards to holding the property and fees.

Thomas and Rawson were very understanding of my current situation and accommodated me every step of the way. I was kept informed with what stage of the process I was at and my tenancy started with them on the date that was originally set.

I received emails with documentation making it more user friendly for someone working like myself.

I attended an appointment on the day my tenancy started to go though the paperwork and receive my keys. She was well organised and gave me the time I need to review the documents before signing.

Overall I've had the best experience with Thomas and Rawson and I feel confident in them being my agency. The whole process has made me feel more confident about being a tenant of theirs as they are very approachable and professional."

"The property has been our family home for many years and we wanted an agent that would manage it with the same care and attention to detail that we ourselves would give. From the outset Peter and his team have given us the confidence that we can trust them to do exactly that with their clear knowledge of the local market and professional approach.

In our initial discussions he listened sympathetically to what we required and offered advice as to the best ways to achieve the outcome that we wanted of reliable tenants who would look after the property at a fair rent. This took a little time and patience but ultimately the outcome was excellent and has continued to be so over time.

4 bed family home - Poole 2 bed flat - Parkstone

"We first used Thomas and Rawson for our 4 bed family home. They have always been professional, friendly and polite. They carried out regular checks and told us when they thought we should not renew the tenancy agreement with a particularly difficult tenant. We have always felt they have tried to do the best for us. When our long term tenants moved out of our flat we did not hesitate in taking on Thomas and Rawson to manage that for us as well. It is a comfort to know there is someone looking out for our interests in Dorset when we ourselves live in Kent. The team are all very approachable."
