The advice they gave us in terms of approach to the market turned out to be absolutely on point. We needed to get some work done and their recommendations on trades were always timely and competitive. Their willingness to look after the property through the process was a huge relief to us. At every step of the process, we were informed and consulted as appropriate. Despite the pandemic, we were able to complete just 2 months after accepting an offer (and less than 3 months after listing) at a price better than we expected. The staff are all professional, friendly and very responsive. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this estate agent. "

Richard was supremely knowledgeable about the local market, open and honest in all of his communications, patient and supremely hard working. Faced with a difficult chain, it was Richard who knew exactly what was going on - far more so than any of the solicitors. He worked all hours, and always remained positive.
Above all, Richard Gomme ensured we completed in time to move just days before the COVID-19 lockdown. Thanks to him, we made it with just a few days to spare.

"When we moved to Northumberland in 2015, we engaged BS Bennett to market our house for rental and also to manage the property. My husband had worked for them as a contractor and had witnessed first hand the way they looked after the properties in their care. They found us some great tenants who stayed for almost three years. Nicole did a fantastic job, visiting the property regularly and keeping us informed about any repairs needed. She also sourced any tradespeople we required - we honestly didn’t have to worry about a thing! When the tenants moved out, we decided to sell the house. Again, Bennett's did a wonderful job. As we were over 300 miles away, the team conducted all the viewings (of which there were many) and Katie and Nicole kept us updated at every stage. The sale was completed in less than 10 weeks and would have been quicker, if the buyers’ solicitor had been more responsive. In summary, we cannot recommend BS Bennett highly enough. Their professionalism, local knowledge and customer service is second to none and what is more they are all lovely people!"

"The whole experience of dealing with Bennetts was excellent. Very friendly, efficient personnel. Nothing was too much trouble and they were always attentive.
