I emailed the details, including my measuring attempt, to APEX, a Dundee replacement-windows firm-chosen because I was happy with their replacement of a kitchen window two years earlier. They replied promptly and stated that they would advise when an engineer could get to me to make his measurement: after that visit, APEX emailed promptly what the cost would be. The replacement window was fitted. Like last time, I was impressed by the ability of the chap who fitted the replacement and, like last time, I was also impressed by the company's ladies emailed and telephoned communications - conveying to worried customers that their problems will be dealt with efficiently and timeously is not easy, but they achieved that with great ability.
