"Martin was very professional and courteous. He respected my house thoroughly, even putting special over shoes on all around the house. He was knowledgeable. Nothing was too much trouble to explain to me and he was very patient giving me answers to my stupid questions about his job. I would recommend anyone to use this firm and this service from the moment I got in touch their communication was brilliant my report within 12 hours. You can’t ask for a better service than that. Leanne provided us with a whole-house retrofit survey.

"I would expect that anybody considering an energy-efficiency retrofit survey would have done significant research beforehand. They would have a number of great ideas as to how they could improve their property's energy performance but would nevertheless feel more confident having an objective, professional assessment behind them before committing to what could be considerable outlay. What is sensible to embark on first? How long is the pay-back period per measure taken? What is not sensible to pursue?

This was our position. We have extension plans for our house in progress (out from the kitchen and up into the loft) and we're eager to include whatever energy upgrades we can during this phase. Leanne has helped us to crystallise our thinking regarding the elements we include as a priority (improved insulation to our kitchen floor, continuing into the extension; solar panels with battery back-up; checking the state of our wall cavity insulation; introducing a mechanical ventilation and heat extraction system). We've learnt that swapping our new, highly efficient oil boiler for an air source heat pump is a good future move, but it can wait for now. We have also been made aware of any grants that are out there (there are a few but they morph constantly).

The long and short of it is that Leanne has carried out a very thorough survey of our house. Following this she has produced some really useful figures around the impact and cost of the various measures she has recommended for our energy upgrade.

At £525 for Leanne's input, beginning to end, I am happy that we have received very good value for money, and I have no hesitation in recommending the services of her company.

Retrofit assessments and Energy Performance Certificates

"We have contracted Leanne to complete retrofit assessments and EPCs on our contract with the Greater London Authority’s Warmer Homes Scheme. We have found her to be diligent, accurate and hassle free when completing leads and have found the quality of the reports and the advice given to the customers to be of a high standard.
