Removal of old oil boiler and hot water cylinder. Installation of Riello air source heat pump and new hot water cylinder, with Homely Energy controller.

"Tim and team did an exceptional job replacing our oil boiler and hot water cylinder with a Riello air source heat pump and new hot water cylinder.

Of the several quotes we received, Tim was the only person who went through the effort of completing a full heat loss survey of our home on the first visit. His thoroughness reassured us, and gave us confidence in his proposed approach.

On the week of the install, the team were great contractors to have at our home. They were neat and tidy (despite having to dig in Sussex clay!) and were happy to explain what was being done and why, and took into account our needs. Their attention to detail was very high, and things such as the neatness of the internal pipe work and quality of the insulation (properly mitred joints) gives us confidence in all the bits we can't see!

Our heat pump is working really well and we are very impressed. They installed a Homely Energy controller, and once we quickly learned to trust it (it works out the best times to run the heat pump, at the lowest possible heat output for maximum efficiency, which might be when you don't expect it to be running), during the final cold spells of early spring our home was warm and toasty, using less energy (£ electricity vs £ oil) than before.

We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Kent Heat Pumps to others."

"From the relaxed and informative first meeting to completion I found Kent Heat Pumps to be very accomodating and professional in every aspect.

They guided me through what is a very complicated field and designed a solar/battery system that was tailored to my personal requirements.

They installed a 4kw solar system with battery storage in good time and the couteous and professional staff completed it to a very high standard. The system proves itself on a daily basis.

I would highly recommended using Kent Heat Pumps and I will be engaging with them further to complete my renewable journey."

Replacement of air source heat pump, control unit and hot water cylinder.

"We contacted Kent Heat Pumps to give some advice on an existing and ageing Samsung ASHP which was 12 years old. We inherited this on moving in to our new home and found It had not been maintained properly by the previous installer.
Tim came and advised us he could service it and get another few years out of it if we wanted to - or replace with a new unit. Tim was very pragmatic and took the time to explain our options with no hard sell and we decided to replace with a new unit that was much quieter in operation and also more efficient. The new Samsung unit is great - extremely quiet in operation and much more efficient than the old unit.
The quote was competitive, the installation on time as promised and the end result is fantastic. Tim’s installation team were very friendly and accommodating - quality of workmanship and the attention to detail was outstanding. And they also tackled a couple of other items for us while they were here.
Highly recommended!"
