"We were looking for someone to do all the jobs above. All joinery /handyman work. Was so pleased when Timmy accepted the jobs to be done. They were all completed to a high standard. They kept in touch to let me know the parts that they ordered and when they would come back to complete the work. Excellent service and will be contacting Timmy first when we need jobs done. Joinery plumbing electrical decorating Replacement of flooring. Replace internal wall. Replace burst water pipe. Re-decorate

"I can’t thank Timmy and his team enough for there professionalism and quality of workmanship they recently carried out at my property.
I’m a landlord and had a flood so bad that the tenants had to move into temporary accommodation when the work was getting done.
I was going on holiday when the two week period for the work was going to start.
This involved the replacement of flooring. A partition wall to com down and replaced. Plumbing, electrical and redecorating. Also drying out the floor with a dehumidifier.
Timmy from trades 24 project managed all trades of the job from start to finish. Timmy sent photos and updates every day which was very reassuring when I was away on holiday.
On my return I inspected the property when it was finished.
The standard of workmanship was excellent. They also tidied up and cleaned the property so it was all ready for the tenants to move back into.
I will not hesitate to use Trades 24 and highly recommend Them."

Some initial handyman jobs and then more substantial work including a kitchen refurbishment, change of internal doors, building a cupboard into an alcove and making good and adding shelves to a walk-in cupboard.

"The initial handyman jobs were completed by Crawford of Trades 24 who was friendly and knowledgeable, understood what was needed and completed the work to a high standard. Jobs which had been waiting for months were done within a couple of hours and look great.

For the more substantial work (kitchen refurbishment etc), I have no technical knowledge, little experience of this sort of work and was not ready to take on coordinating trades etc myself. So the work was project managed by Timmy at Trades 24. This was absolutely the right decision. Timmy was professional, easy to talk to and able to ask the right questions to understand what I wanted; I didn't feel swamped with information or decisions which was something which I had been concerned about before I contacted Trades 24. I moved out while the work took place, I felt able to hand over my key and trust to Timmy and his colleagues professionalism. I returned to results which I am delighted with, any issues such as a minor problem with a kitchen unit were pro-actively handled by Timmy. Altogether I feel they went the extra mile to ensure a high quality job.

For both the odd jobs and the kitchen refurbishment contact was via e-mail and WhatsApp although I'm sure that telephone contact would have been no problem if that was needed. Contacts were clear and Timmy responded promptly when needed, it worked well from my point of view. The quote and invoice were sent via e-mail with an easy to use option to agree to the quote electronically so again, simple and efficient.

Altogether, I feel Trades 24 provided a first class service and completed first class work. I would definitely use them again for further work, be that odd jobs or bigger projects.

Removed stairs to loft, formed new cupboard by stripping out old lathe and plaster and blocking up a doorway. Made hatch, supplied and fitted ramsay ladder. Increased the size of 5no doorways, supplied and fitted new pre finished oak doors and new facings and stops. Supplied and fitted 3no pre finished oak doors to replace existing doors. Fitted shelving to a previously unused cupboard.

"Have dealt with Timmy several times in my own business, but this was the first time in my own home. John & Steve the joiners on site are excellent joiners. This wasn’t an easy job to try in get bigger doors in an old cottage with small badly fitted doors, but they’ve made an excellent job and we’re delighted."

1. Replaced soffits, fascias on sun room 2. Repaired significant leakage in shower room

"Timmy Knight and his team are excellent. The professional way in which Timmy and the team carryout their work gives great confidence in recommending them highly. When I first contacted Timmy to see if he would come and quote for a job replacing soffits and fascias, he did so later that afternoon, took measurements and said he would send me a quote in 2 days time, which he did. I agreed the quote and he and the team started a week later, arriving at 0815am as promised and worked throughout the following 3 days. All I did was to provide tea, coffee and chocolate biscuits. The quality of their work was excellent.

Sometime later I needed a quote for repairs to a shower room in a flat. Again Timmy came and throughly inspected the area and gave a quote. As the repair was urgent he and the team were able to start and finish the following week. Photographs were taken of the damage which was caused by the previous contractor putting a nail through a hot pipe when securing the shower tray. Timmy also photographed new flooring, walls etc before laying new vinyl, tiles and refitting shower and sanitary ware. Again the quality of the worked was excellent.

There are many contractors and tradespeople available but finding ones who are reliable, trustworthy, professional that provide quality work is difficult. I recommend Timmy Knight Trades 24 ltd, highly."

Major renovation of an old property. take out all old fittings, Install new floors throughout , install new en suite , new kitchen, 2 new bathrooms including en suite , full electrical rewiring, install underfloor heating in new bathrooms and kitchen, reflooring and new carpeting throughout, Engineered wood in living room, new chimney oven, new heaters and window blind, and roofing control.

"I found Trades 24 very trustworthy, conscientious, and the quality of work of a high standard. Any time overruns were as a result of agreed additional scope as new factors emerged during the renovation which required to be fixed. "I received a prompt response to my initial enquiry as to the possible cost of fixing two dripping taps and within two days someone had come to assess what was required. There was a slight delay getting the quotation (partly due to the festive period) but, after a little discussion re the two possible options and confirmation that the quote was acceptable, a date was agreed to get the job done and everything went according to plan.

Loft flooring and insulation upgrade. New loft hatch and ladder.

"From the start Trades24 provided a friendly, quick and competent service. Our enquiry for the job was answered promptly, and someone came to look at the house in a timely manner.

The person who came to look at the house was friendly, and helpful providing answers to our questions and explaining our options. After this a quote for the work, including break down of VAT, labour and materials. And when we had questions regarding type of ladder and measurements these were answered very quickly.

Once the quote was accepted the work began sooner than we had expected (due to being so close to Christmas), with timescales and measures for COVID explained.

The men that did the work, were friendly and professional, following COVID guidelines by wearing masks in the house. They answered questions we had, and explained how long the work would take, what they would be doing and what they would need access to to complete the job.

The job itself was completed to a high standard, in the timescale provided, in a tidy way. Plastic sheeting was provided to keep our carpets protected and all rubbish was taken with them when they left, leaving the house clean.

The invoice was provided promptly, with the date for payment clearly marked and ways to pay so we could pay in our own time and in a way that suited us.

Upon payment we received confirmation quickly that it has been received and a receipt was sent for proof.

Over all, Trades24 provided a high standard from all levels of staff within their company, providing service with professionalism and friendly manners. We would definitely use them again and recommend them highly to anyone."
