Solid wall insulation.

"One problem after another with Rockwarm. Put scaffold up in November 2020 took it down 24 hours later. Nearly lost Goverment Green Deal grant because they made mess of the quote. No square metre measure, and money figures added up incorrectly. Started work in June 2021 by putting scaffold up never returned for nearly three weeks. Should of put 90mm insulation boards on house as per Goverment regulation. Instead only used 60mm. When question about this, they said we never said anything when shown the audit. How would we know we are a couple in our 70's have NO knowledge of insulation. We only found out about the thickness when we noticed other house's had thicker boards. Several short cuts were taken as the work progressed One or two issues corrected, after contacting office. Other were not. 7/8 Weeks of mess with long periods of no activity. Several attempts were made to raise issue of insulation thickness with Rockwarms director. Rebuffed every time. Strangest thing when posted review on trust Pilot. The reply that came from Rockwarm contained a treat to a financial penalty, but was for a completely different customer. We had paid £2,500.30 and a Goverment grant of £5000 was given. The customer they had in mind had had a grant of £10,000. The treat was that the customer could be made to pay it all. Just how many dissatisfied customer have they had if they get confused. The reply to this customer is below.
We are not perfect, but we do not deserve the level of complaint that you have written here. Strange that you don't make any mention of all the help that we gave you in terms of applying for a £10,000 grant to have the works done fully funded so that you didn't pay a penny. You also don't mention the fact that you signed that customer satisfaction form as "fully satisfied" in order to claim the £10,000 grant. Perhaps you would like to revoke that with the Green Homes Voucher Scheme and pay for the works directly? As we explained initially via letter and verbally at a pre-site meeting, installing External Wall Insulation is a major building project with multi trades involved and its perfectly normal for a job to take 7-8 weeks based on wet weather issues.
One final point Rockwarms document says to the best of my knowledge- not Fully satisfied.

Outside insulation to outside Bungalow . Bespoke solid conservatory roof from scratch.

"Rockwarm team brilliant from call to office Tracy kept me informed of all work to be done and when the work would be started and when scaffolding, plumbers and electrician would arrive. Also sky dish to be moved.

Aldis & Dennis did the outside instillation. Fitting the insulation boards this was a bit noisy,then fixed the reinforcing mesh and texture over it. This was then left to dry the final stage was totally dependent on the weather.The finish is wonderful bungalow looks amazing.
They were both very polite left everything clean and tidy. Highly recommend.


Also had a new bespoke solid conservatory roof from scratch.

Roy & Mark were brilliant.
All existing roof was removed and disposed. Installed a new tImber roof and insulation between rafters. New Britney lite slate to roof, upvc facia and guttering. Inside plaster board to flat ceiling, skim coat finish to ceiling. Painted and lights fitted.

The transformation to the bungalow and conservatory is wonderful. Feels a lot warmer already.
Totally professional and efficient from start to finish Highly recommend Rockwarm nothing to much trouble. Thankyou Team Rockwarm.

"Thanks to Rockwarm Company and their excellent team for a great rendering job at our home. The service provided was excellent and the employees were very respectful while working on site and very punctual. We are very happy with the final result and the overall team, including the office staff who all worked together updating us constantly and sticking to the deadline. Having the Operations Manager checking the project through all the stages was a great help and very reassuring. I would love to recommend Rockwarm to anyone who needs to brighten up their home with a new look and insulating is the key with energy saving . We are very happy with how our home now looks.
