Exterior paint work (Victorian semi-detached villa): case + sash wooden window frames, wood porch and windows, front and back doors, metal garage door, prior to work, paint work was talking and in a poor condition. Fraser carried out remedial preparation work to make sure surfaces were sound before applying new paint.

Fraser Cook was hired to supply and paint the outside of our house. A detached two story villa. The complete house was to be painted. including gate and railings. The price includes Supplying the paint.

"Fraser and his mate Ian (Ian was helping Fraser just for a couple of days) turned up on time and as promised.
They explained what was required from me and what they were to, then set about work straight away. Nothing was too much trouble, they were a very obliging pair of workmen.

I had a couple of wee things I asked to be done whilst they were here and they managed to fit these in and keep on time with no problems.

We were delighted with the workmanship and would have no problem recommending them to my friends. Their work was of an excellent standard and to this end I have asked him to tender for the inside of our house later in the year.

Painting of all wooden outside windows and their surrounding stonework, all eaves and pipework, 2 exterior doors and one garage door, one gable end of house, all exterior walls of small extension, hand rails by front door and alongside front path.

"Fraser spent time before the job explaining what the job would entail and what the options were for the best outcome. The end product was of the highest standard and has made the property look well cared for and well maintained. Some items needed 3 coats of paint to cover the previous colour. He paid particular attention to small details such as the edge of rough pebbledash which required a tiny brush to paint up to the edge. We were extremely pleased with the final result."

Wall papering and painting our hall, stairs, upstairs landing and storage room. Staining skirting boards, the downstairs and upstairs dado rail and four doors in the downstairs hall

"Fraser's work is absolutely first class, he takes real pride in his work and his attention to detail is unsurpassed; he removed all our cable on the skirting boards, our coat hooks and the smoke alarm so he he could paint under rather than around.

We are absolutely delighted with the finished job and as long as Fraser's around, we won't be going anywhere else for any future decorating work; we've already booked him in for some external work in the summer.

I've already recommended him to two friends who require decorating work and I can highly recommend his services to anyone, you won't get better."

Repainting external walls of house.

"Fraser and George repainted the external walls of our house last week, and have done an outstanding job. The house had badly needed painted for years and we are delighted with the transformation, it has made such a difference! From the start, Fraser responded promptly to messages, answering all questions, and was very accommodating and understanding when I had a last-minute change of mind about a paint colour for the brickwork of the house. He couldn't have been more helpful, professional and polite throughout the entire process.

Fraser and George arrived every morning at 8:30am and were very hard working with excellent attention to detail. Their workmanship is of high quality and they left everything tidy at the end of each day. They kept me informed of their progress, and are very friendly and pleasant people to deal with. Their price is also excellent value for the amount of work they put in and we were really happy with all aspects of the job. Fraser and George are great at what they do and we wouldn't hesitate to use their services again either inside or outside the house, and would highly recommend them to others looking for trustworthy and skilled painters/decorators. It is high ceiling wall with 10 doors for the rooms and a lot of wood on Bannister.

Advice on types of paints suitable for the job stopped old wallpaper of vestibule and large lobby.
Preparing kitchen walls for painting preparing vestibule a hall with lining paper. Filling in any holes with filler. Buying materials for the job.

The ceilings are very high as this is an old house, so the work was a good but more than it sounds.
 

"The painters came promptly each day, got straight to work and did a really good job. Fraser even painted the kitchen raditor ( which was a plus) at no extra charge.
