Skimming of plasterboard walls and re-skimming of traditional walls that had previously been plastered to a very poor standard when the house was built.

"Tradesmen are traditionally critical of those that precede them. It's the 'it's their fault not mine mentality' which seems to be common in the building industry. However, not only was I as a lay-person delighted with the quality of the work, but the highly recommended firm of painters & decorators that followed the plasterers were very complimentary of the finished product they had been left to work with; it saving them a great deal of preparatory work.

Plastering of hallway ceilings.

"Barry Morrison's firm was recommended to me by another plasterer because the job was to big for him to undertake. With family due to visit in under 8 weeks time and other trades waiting in the wings, I contacted Barry and explained our predicament. Barry provided an estimate within a couple of days and, although snowed under with work at the time, two plasterers within a week. Both were very polite and extremely hard working; an enormous amount of preparatory work was required (sealing off doors to adjacent rooms and covering the mahogany stairwell, etc.) before they could even begin plastering. Not only was the plastering of a very high standard but they then cleaned and hovered up after they had finished to leave the site as tidy as could be expected. My wife and I were so impressed with the quality of the work that we have since asked Barry to undertake some further work for us."

Build scaffold around property. Protect all windows with window protector. Remove any boss roughcast and apply scotch coat of sand/cement. Seal full property with SBR sealant & fix new bellcast beads. Roughcast full property in dry finish. Remove all rubbish. Leaving and in clean and tidy.

Rough casting to detached house and garden walls

"first time I have used the firm, the job was carried out methodically and to a high standard. The tradesmen were polite, well mannered, communicated well throughout the work programme which included scaffolding being set up and remover by another contractor.
Time keeping was very good arriving on the job for 8.00 am every day and reliable.
