"Last year Max roughcast my house and did an excellent job. This year he plastered the walls and ceiling in my lounge. As before he was very professional, arrived when agreed, carried out the work efficiently and competently and cleared up when the job was complete. The works were to skim coat a newly boarded bedroom and walk-in wardrobe. bedroom dimensions are 3.60mx3.00mx2.70m high and the wardrobe 2.80mx0.800mx2.70m high.

"It was a pleasure dealing with Max Harper. He responded quickly to my initial enquiry and provided me with a fair quote and a timescale for the works.
He arrived on the agreed start date and completed the works within the agreed time period.
He left a very professional job.
Based on the plasterwork Max did for me I would not hesitate to recommend Max for other plasterwork. I'm a retired building engineer and I don't give such recommendations lightly.

Plastered all the walls and ceiling in our living room

"From the moment we contacted Max, we have been blown away by his professionalism. He called us back very quickly after our initial enquiry, he visited us the next day and looked at the job. He told us he’d get back to us with a price for the work, how long it would take and a date he could start - he did exactly that, the very same evening. We were very happy with the quotation and the proposed start date so we agreed for Max to carry out the work.
Max arrived on the agreed date and set to work. His preparation in our room was fantastic - he taped over windows and doors to protect them and he laid down dust sheets. Each day he was here he worked tirelessly to get the job done. At every stage, Max advised us of what he would be doing next, and he stuck to the plan. At the end of the job, Max cleaned up the whole site.
His plastering skills are excellent - he is very skilled in what he does, and this has resulted in our living room looking fantastic and ready for the next stage of our renovation.
We have more work planned in our home, and we will definitely be contacting Max in the future to help us with this.
So, to summarise: in Max, we have found a a young businessman who is very polite and courteous, extremely knowledgeable and an expert in his field, but just as important, he is also a man who sticks to his word, and actually does what he says he going to do. He most definitely deserves to be described as a “trusted” trader."

"Chose Max Harper/ firm from reference line based on customer reviews. Max contacted me promptly, viewed planned work, supplied quote same day and gave proposed start date. Update to adjust start date as weather delayed some outside work he was currently doing. Work carried out efficiently and very pleased with outcome. "I have used M. Harper several times to plaster and skim coat the walls in my property. Each time, I found him to be extremely pleasant, professional, tidy and efficient. He arrives when expected and does not stop until he's finished, or has finished for the day. On all occasions, I have been delighted with the smooth finish of my walls and his attention to keeping his workspace (and my property) clean and tidy. I can't recommend him highly enough. "Max did a great job of plastering a bathroom for us a couple of years ago so we asked him to come back to plaster our kitchen. It is a large room with a high ceiling that required some scaffolding.

Max did a fantastic job of the plastering. We also paid him to paint the kitchen and we are really pleased with the end result.

We would highly recommend Max and would definitely call him again if we need any plastering done.

Plastering work done to repair the wall and around the pipes where the new flu for the central heating boiler was fitted. Also removing conduit and sinking the electrical wiring for the central heating control box into the wall.

"Messaged Max to see if he could do the work needed, he got back to me quickly and we agreed a time, date and price. He came to the house a couple of days before to double check what was required.

Work is now complete, plastering done to a great standard, area left clean and tidy.

Max has now completed the plastering for my whole house (Kitchen, Bathroom, 2 Bedrooms, Living Room and Hallway). This has been done in stages, as and when I required it.

Would highly recommend his company for any/all plastering work needed.

I required my living room to be skimmed/plastered and have spoke non stop about it since he finished the job! Full job done in 2 days. My house was empty/unfurnished therefore I assume easier but I also trusted Max in the house alone.

"I am absolutely over the moon with the service Max provided, quick and efficient! Very easy to speak to and answered any questions I had on the aftercare.

I was recommended Max through a friend and gave him a text message, he replied quickly with a reply to come and see the property and what was to be carried out. Max came and only needed 5 mins of my time. Max gave me a price the next day and I agreed. I gave Max my availability and he picked days he would be able to carry out the job. He arrived on time and spent 2 days at the property. I was able to meet Max in the morning then I left him alone and went back at finishing time.

I paid cash for the service. I am very satisfied with the outcome. I would highly recommend Max and would use him again in the future if required."

"After several false starts with other plasterers trying to get this work completed, working with Max was a breath of fresh air. He always replies to messages quickly, does what he says he's going to do, and tells you if it looks like plans are going to change. There are no surprises... perfect communication.

Max is friendly and the quality of his work is bang on. I asked for flat, smooth surfaces which I could paint, and that's exactly what I got, on time, no fuss, and tidily done.

If there's any more plastering to be done, Max is going to be my first phone call from now on. Fantastic service Max, thanks."

We contacted Max after searching on Trusted Traders for a reliable plasterer and we were so glad we did. From first contact he was immediately responsive and helpful. He advised us regarding the best approach for him to complete the renovation job in our kitchen. This work involved tidying rough brickwork and plastering intricate corners, getting levels right and ensuring a smooth finish.

"Max clearly enjoys his work, quietly gets on with the job, works hard and is a perfectionist. He’s friendly too. We couldn’t be happier with his finished work. We were also pleased with the cost he quoted for the work in advance and he kept to his quotation at the conclusion even though he experienced some unexpected obstacles. "After seeing Max's company van parked on the street I checked out his Facebook page and was impressed with pictures of his work.
I had been let down by other plasterers who didn't turn up previously but Max assured me he'd be here!
He came when he said he would and did a fantastic job. He left the place really tidy. We are absolutely delighted with the work that has been done in the house. "I had the harling on the whole house done. From the very start when Max came to give me a quote and until the job was finished Max was very professional and friendly.

I can’t fault his work which was carried out to a very high standard. I’m so happy that Max did the work for me as it now looks like I have a new house. He also cleaned up every day before he left.
