Bathroom changed to a wet room, and widening of doors

"Delighted with my wet room. From choosing materials with Louise from J.J Plumbing Ltd, and with Aiden and his team fitting it. Everything was talked through with me , reassuring re costs and fitting. Wet room was fitted with minimum disruption, Aiden and his team very considerate . Nothing was too much trouble , and I only had to wait a few weeks to have the wet room fitted. Added bonus was Louise advising me I was entitled to VAT exemption because the adaptions were for my disability, saving me on costs"

"I cannot recommend or praise Louise and Joe highly enough.
Louise was very helpful in choosing the most suitable items for what I needed.
When fitting Joe made the difficult job seem effortless and there was minimal disruption. Nothing was to much trouble.
They make a tremendous team together.

Installation of shower, wash basin and toilet from scratch. Due to where the room was it required a macerator toilet and pump for the shower and wash basin. This was done in four and a half days and included new flooring and wall covering to parts.

"Excellent from start to finish. This included help from Louise at the showroom selecting the right items for me and Joe's help when fitting which was done with the minimum disruption. I cannot praise or recommend them highly enough. Have already passed their details to two friends."

Two new bathrooms were installed - the main family bathroom and the downstairs cloakroom.

"I had used JJ Bathrooms in the past to source materials when updating my en-suite and had found them helpful. They went above and beyond when they rectified mistakes made by the independent person I had employed to fit this bathroom. This person had no connection to JJ Bathrooms at all and did a poor job - Joe from JJ Bathrooms was so aggrieved by my experience that he went out of his way to rectify the mistakes made - charging me only for parts and not his time. I did not hesitate to contact JJ Bathrooms when I decided to upgrade my other two bathrooms. Louise was brilliant (and very patient) as I selected all the new fittings and fixtures for my new bathrooms and went out of her way to source specific taps that I was keen on. I used a bathroom fitter, Lewis Hart, recommended by JJ Bathrooms. Lewis was in the house for 5 days removing all aspects of the old bathrooms and installing the new ones. He was pleasant, helpful and accommodating. He left everything neat and tidied at the end of each day and he did a great job - I am extremely happy and satisfied with both bathrooms and would not hesitate to recommend JJBathrooms."

Total strip out of 1: downstairs shower room and 2: upstairs bathroom. 1: Installation of new pump shower, lavatory, wash hand basin, cupboard, wall heater, full tiling, ceiling replacement. 2 installation of digital shower, bath, lavatory, sink & cupboard, towel rail heater, partial tiling, wall boarding, ceiling & flooring.

"The service provided by J&J Bathrooms (Joe & Louise Jardine) was nothing short of excellent. Their company has to be a credit to Dumfries & Galloway.

We chose to have two bathrooms renovated. Any appointment with Louise on the design was not rushed and her knowledge of the huge range of products was amazing. She paid attention planning every detail and, once agreed, a timely quotation was received.

The work started some 6 months later and Jo worked hard and had everything finished 3 days ahead of schedule. We are extremely pleased with the quality of his work, in particular the finish of the tiling. Where we discussed minor changes along the way Jo obliged. The electrician tied in his work and efficiently completed all the new lighting. At the end of each day the areas were vacuumed and left in a very tidy condition.

Overall, I would recommend this company for plumbing and bathroom work. Thank you for professional service."

Complete bathroom rip out and installation.

"My wife and I had a complete bathroom makeover done in April 2024. Prior to work starting we met with Louise from JJ Plumbing and Bathrooms on a number of occasions. Louise was totally professional and so knowledgeable with everything from products, style, cost and timeline. Seeing the potential finished installation on a big screen was amazing.

Joe from JJ Plumbing and Bathrooms completed all the work on time and to an extremely high standard. Nothing was too much trouble for Joe even during installation when we had a couple of small tweaks.

The whole process from start to finish was made incredibly easy and straightforward.

We did go to another company before meeting with Louise from JJ Plumbing and Bathrooms and were left completely underwhelmed by the professionalism, design and one of the major factors, cost.

We cannot thank Louise & Joe enough and have already recommended them to several people and would urge anyone looking to completely renew their bathroom to discuss their requirements with JJ Plumbing and Bathrooms.

"Excellent service from beginning to end.
Good choice of materials and bathroom supplies to choose from, 3D model was good to show us what was possible. Prices reasonable and quote sent through quickly.

Fitting was on days given in advance, quick and efficient, good communication from fitter on arrival times each day, always cleaned up at the end of the day and plastic sheeting down on stairs which prevented mess etc.

"I'm so happy with my bathroom transformation which included removal of a wall and blocking up a cupboard too make the bathroom larger.. From initial consultation & planning with Louise to the installation, I cannot fault them. I got exactly the bath, shower, sink, mirror etc I wanted and Joe and his dad were fantastic fitting it all. They were highly professional, turning up when they said, working quickly and efficiently, informing me of any minor changes required as we went along. They were considerate and respectful, cleaned up after themselves and the quality of their work is the absolute highest standard. I completely 100% recommend J J Plumbing and Bathrooms to anyone co sidering getting theirs done. Getting good reliable builders is always a worry but you can rest assured you won't regret it for a second getting JJ to do theirs."

We had a complete redesign of our family bathroom.

"From our initial visit to the showroom we were made to feel welcome. Eric came to visit us at home to take photos of our existing bathroom. From here he was able to offer advice on what would work best for us taking our preferences into account. Louise then designed our new bathroom using her computer programme, which allowed us to see exactly what we were going to get.
We were able to change some options and see different products and never felt rushed into making a final decision, however, it didn’t take us long to decide it was exactly what we wanted.
The work was scheduled and Lewis turned up as planned. During the time he was working in our house, he was very pleasant, tidy and respectful of our property, leaving the house as tidy as it was when he arrived.
We are delighted with the bathroom and have decided to go back to JJ Plumbing to have our kitchen supplied and fitted later in the year."

Remove 2 layers of ceramic tiles, replace bathtub with quadrant corner electric shower. Supply and replace hand wash basin, wall and floor boards. Recommend Lewis Hart to complete the above work and liase with Ryan Johnstone for the Electrical work required.

"First class service from start to completion.
The surveyor listened to what we wanted and made suggestions on what would be suitable in the space available.
We were then invited to meet with Louise in the showroom to see her designs and choose the bathroom fittings, wall and floor boards.
She was extremely patient, helpful and never pushed us to go beyond our budget.
After the visit we were sent a comprehensive quote for bathroom, a separate quote for Lewis and details of the electricians rates.
We were so happy with the service provided that we never went anywhere else.

She recommended Lewis Harvey for the renovation and what a worker he is!
I would have no hesitation in recommending him as he is reliable, a perfectionist and extremely tidy,
Everything looked perfect on completion.
He also liaised with the electricians so everything went smoothly and was completed within 5 days.
We are so pleased to have found this gem of a company and have no complaints about any aspect of the services they provide."
