Boiler repair

"I needed urgen boiler repair in cold snap. Called at 8 am. Reassured that they could help. Given an explanation of how to make contact (which is simple online form) and told would make contact which happened within 10 mins and engineer within an hour or so. The boiler needed a part and they called to explain and estimate costs. Engineer was calm, efficeint, professional (no sucking of teeth and rolled eyes) really tidy and totally helpful. Great asset to them.
Invoice sent and fully itemised.
I would happily use them again and you should feel confident to do so because if the sevice is the same you will be pleased."

We have used HGS for many years to service our boiler and always recommend them to our family and friends. They are reliable and very efficient. We have used them on occasions for an emergency call out and they always respond quickly and helpfully. It is reassuring to know they are there. We recently had a new boiler fitted and relocated. This involved extra redirecting of pipes as well as including an additional radiator. The complete price was extremely competitive and the bill was itemised and matched the original quoted estimate. We also owe HGS for boiler services and gas safety certificates for rental property. Again, all done regularly and efficiently.

Their quotes are accurate and the final bills match the estimates so you know what you are getting and how much it will cost. All the work is guaranteed. I have been using HGS for several years to do maintenance work, carry out repairs and Landlords Gas Certificates on my rental properties and my own home.

"They are always extremely pleasant to deal with, very efficient, always give me cost details for approval before carrying out the work required , plus their charges are very competitive.
When routine work is due they contact my tenants to make mutually convenient appointments which makes life so much easier for me.

The work we wanted a quote for was a new boiler, issue with our toilet and bathroom tap and to replace the kitchen sink.

"I contacted this company via Trusted Trader to quote for a new boiler, issue with our toilet and bathroom tap and to replace the kitchen sink.

Initially we received an email from Rob asking for contact details but haven't heard from him since and even after chasing them up! Not a good first impression.

I have now found a professional company to complete this work."

Replacement of unreliable faulty multi-point water heater with Baxi 25kw combi- boiler

"Rob at HGS came to my rescue when my multipoint water heater broke down in my property in North Walsham that was let out.
He explained my options clearly and recommended I installed a Baxi Combi Boiler which would be reliable , easy to maintain and give the option of central heating in the future. However this was not an easy task for him as there was a shortage of available combi boilers country wide , in addition we had to satisfy the Freeholders of the property as it was a leasehold flat and the tenant was without hot water. We worked together and Rob not only managed to provide drawings of the job approved by the Freeholder but also source the Baxi Combo of choice and installed it within a week and with an excellent deal on price to boot! Thus great satisfaction was achieved for myself the Landlord and my tenant ."

Removal of faulty boiler and installation of new boiler.

"Our 15 year old boiler was leaking, resulting in water running down the wall from our bathroom to our kitchen. We needed a speedy replacement and contacted our usual boiler service company. The company identified that we needed a new boiler but then simply stopped communicating with us when we tried to book them to fit a replacement.

We sent an SOS to HGS via their website and to my surprise Rob responded on the same day and asked for photographs and descriptions from which he was able to identify a new boiler for us. Rob very kindly made some adjustments to the schedule so that our new boiler could be fitted as soon as possible. The work was carried out quickly and efficiently and the area was left tidy. We are very happy with our new boiler.

Thank you HGS for coming to our rescue! I would definitely recommend this company."
