Our move was a distance of approximately 270 miles,

"'Christophers' Crew was very punctual, the Vehicle used was a credit to the company and caused much interest amomgst our new neighbours.

Nothing was too much trouble for the two crew members they worked very hard, the collection and delivery addresses were both first floor flats having to lift items down and up two staircases.not a word of complaint about this was heard.

We cannot really add anymore to what we have already said.

The whole job from start to finish went very smoothly leaving us

Very impressed by prompt reply to my initial enquiry, quotation to collect goods and explanation of storage and delivery charges. "Everybody that we dealt with within the company were very friendly, helpful and professional.

The removal men, Nick and Nick, were very friendly and hardworking, respectful of our furniture, taking care not to mark any walls. They covered all walkways to keep the flooring clean. They were very conscientious and professional.

"Excellent service from the company. From the first point of contact to the removal of all the furniture, M J Christophers was a very professional company. All the members of staff were polite. The cost of the removal was really competitive. The furniture was all handled with great care.

Our move was from a four bed roomed detached property from Cornwall to Norfolk. It involved packing and loading over two days, a further day driving and a day of unloading. Furniture was dissembled and reassembled at the new property. Difficult access issues were overcome

"I cannot praise Mike Christopher and his team more highly. From the outset, Mike was extremely professional and thorough in his approach to our move. We had explored other companies, but Mike was the only person to spot a difficult access issue and to have researched our move before we met him.

Mike and his team are courteous and well mannered. They are well turned out and the vehicles they use are clean and well equipped. Nothing was too much trouble for them throughout. Packing was meticulous and extrme care was taken over precious clocks, paintings and other antiques. They worked extremely hard and stayed until the job was done."

They moved my son from a first floor flat in central Newquay where access was very challenging into accommodation on a friends farm. Then back from the farm and into his little house in Porth. The farm presented numerous challenges including mud more difficult access plus dogs geese and even an emu!!

"I can not recommend Christopher’s highly enough. They arrived early and worked tirelessly to move my son from St Day to Newquay. Additional challenges included moving him from a farm and having to carry his belongings many metres to the nearest place the vans could be parked in the yard. Such a friendly group nothing was too much trouble and after a long delay caused by roadworks it was early evening by the time they finished. Despite delayed Valentines Day plans they remained charming and professional throughout. Thank you."

Relocated 9 miles away, a local move with easy access.

"From the moment we had our home visit and initial quote I had no doubt about who we were going to move with. On the day of the move itself the team arrived on time and were friendly and helpful and made quick work of emptying our house. Nothing was too much trouble, and everything was either secured well on the lorry or packaged with care. They even put down door mats and protectors to keep the floor clean


Arriving at the new house the poor guys had to unload in the snow and rain but nothing stopped them or prevented them from putting everything right we wanted.

Once complete they even offered to stay and move anything around etc.

From start to finish the team were excellent, they made the entire move stress free and I have absolutely no doubt in my mind that if we're to move again that we would use them. Normally.moves are stressfull, but both my wife and I were relaxed and this is purely down to their efforts. Thank you so much.

"The staff members did an excellent job. They worked very hard, were knowledgeable and courteous - this made the whole experience less stressful for me.

As a family run company, I feel they put more care and attention into the services offered and provided to customers. The office staff were particularly helpful in guiding me through the process and answering my queries. Move from a large house, taking place over two separate days, into storage which extended longer than the anticipated date. Subsequent move to new property, delivering house contents in on two separate days.

"Not having moved for nearly 30 years, I had forgotten how stressful the buying, selling and moving process are. They were significantly reduced because of the high quality of the people at Christophers and Sons. I cannot recommend this firm highly enough. From the first contact in assessing a quotation, to the operation of the move itself, to putting my goods into storage, in negotiating final removal dates to effecting the final moves, the service was impeccable.

I was very well briefed in the first meeting with Mike Christophers how the move would operate and what to expect. The whole process turned out exactly as I had been informed. The paperwork was exceptionally clear and helpful.

The delivery teams were, without exception, courteous, quick, helpful, and, most of all, helpful. They ensured that I knew what they were doing every step of each of the four removal days.

I had total confidence in the storage of my goods and absolute faith in their safety.

The administrative team were remarkable in the helpfulness and patience, particularly in light of a moving date which seemed to change from hour to hour.

I was particularly appreciative when the team managed to arrange the second of my moves as close as possible to the first, meaning the delivery was on a Saturday.

Using Christophers and Sons was worth every penny for a stress and damage free move. Enormous thanks."
