We moved my parents house with 40 years worth of things acquired and my house into one.

"Ede Bros are not just removers they are a whole support system. They understand the emotions involved in moving and the particular intricacies of each move. This is the 3rd time I have used their services and wouldn't consider using any other firm. Right from the initial quote where Lee was so understanding of my elderly Father's needs right up to coming back to help post move. Sophie in the office was able to manage my anxiety re moving dates and was always so reassuring. Every single member of the team was amazing. All extremely polite and helpful even when they must have been exhausted by the end of the day.

They are also so very honest with their quotes charging me less as the move didn't take as long as expected.

I don't usually write reviews but this team are all so very deserving of the best of reviews. I really couldn't recommend them strongly enough"

Moved from a 5 bed three storey home to a 3 bed bungalow so packing up involved lots of stairs/steps

"From Start to finish - Ede's removals were exceptional in their customer service and care and kindness. They represented good value for money compared with another quote we received from a local firm. They were very helpful when agreeing to a last minute change of completion date and also a last minute request to take some boxes into storage. The packers were cheerful , polite and attentive to individual requests concerning certain items and handled and packed everything with care and also gave helpful reminders about what items to hold back for personal use (ie that evening's meal crockery/cutlery and items for breakfast). Everything was done in a timely fashion over the three day move period and Lee and Neil always ensured that items had been placed where we wanted them when they moved us in.... the shining stars in the company are Lee and Sophie who really went above and beyond to ensure our move was as stress free as is possible. If they said they would do something, they did! Once moved we unpacked our boxes quite quickly and they were then collected from our new home the same day as the request to collect was made. Would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending them to anyone needing their services."

We had to move a large open plan conversion into a more conventional property. Lots of stairs on both sides and quite a bit of furniture assembling/ disassembling work.

"This is a moving company I would highly recommend! You will get a team that is warm, professional and dedicated.

Booking was straightforward and all detail was properly explained and reiterated promptly via email. The overall service on both days was superb and everyone's priority was our satisfaction. The office team was also polite and attentive and all communication was super speedy and clear. Their value for money is undeniable on all the services they provide (they were the best quote we got by far!). They have very stylish green vintage-looking vans too!

This had the potential to be a very stressful move fpr us but the Ede Brothers team made it easy and even pleasant. A heartfelt thank to you all."

"Ede Bros moved us from our family home of over 30 years. What was an emotional move was eased by the clear communication from the initial meeting and quotation stage through to the move itself. Moved within the Dorking area over 3 days, first day to pack, second day remaining items to new house and 3rd day rest of contents delivered.

"Excellent service which took a lot of stress out of the moving process. We had an initial visit to assess the move and advised on packing items. The move itself was over 3 days and once the team arrived everything was packed quickly and efficiently. The last items were unloaded by midday on the 3rd day.
Very satisfied, would recommend Ede Bros to anyone moving."

Moving out of my home after 38 years on my own. Because the purchase of a replacement property in a different area of the country kept falling through all my belongings, including some very large garden pots with large shrubs, had to go into storage. Eventually, on the 3rd house offer, the purchase went through and I moved in 3 months later.

"The process of selling one property and purchasing another was a complete nightmare.
My chosen Estate Agent was good as was my Solicitor and Ede Bros were outstanding. Access to my former home was difficult because of road works. Ede stored the contents of my former home together with my very large garden pots complete with shrubs and watered them regularly for three months. The pots are now happily placed in various areas of my new garden and have all obviously thrived!

Every item from my former home was packed most carefully with each moving box marked with contents and room from which it came. There has been one very small breakage with fair compensation quickly and amicably agreed.

They arrived on time with an excellent work ethic. They were extremely helpful and it was a pleasure to have them in my home. It was suggested to me that I should buy a bungalow with easy access! I didn’t! I bought a terraced house on a busy road with difficult access and when I opened the door to them last week they said to me “we told you to buy a bungalow with easy access!” They then set about unloading a very large van into a small van and driving it round the corner to access the front of the house and all done with enormous amounts of goodwill.

They were sustained throughout the day with coffee, tea, chocolate hobnobs and coffee cake!"

A general house move from a 2 bed to a 4 bed for a growing family.

"Moving house when you have 2 small children isn’t an easy task which is why we chose to have the pack and move service from Ede Bros. What an excellent choice it turned out to be. They made the whole process easy, seamless and actually quite enjoyable.
They were punctual, polite and extremely efficient in the packing up of our whole house. They worked tirelessly to load up the vans the day before our move, leaving just our beds and a few essentials for the last night. They returned on the morning of the move, packed our beds and were on the way to our new house by 10am.
The unloading process was just as quick, with 3 large vans unloaded and all furniture and boxes in the right places in just 3 or 4 hours. They took great care to put protective mats down on the carpets and were completely trustworthy with all our belongings.
I can throughly recommend Ede Bros for removals, to say I was highly impressed is an understatement. Thank you Ede Bros for making our house move so successful!"

Family relocation from Surrey to Cheshire - July 2024 We are well experienced with removals - over the last 30 years we have moved house 12 times with some international moves and many different removal companies (often as part of a company relocation). We used Ede Bros for a local move 10 years ago and rated them as one of the best removal companies that we have experienced. For this move we packed most of the items ourselves with packing materials provided by Ede Bros. The removals were spread over 3 days due to the distance of the relocation.

"This is the second time that Ede Bros have done our removals. The first time was a local move and it was great to have a member of the Ede Bros team from 10 years ago, lead the loading of our latest move and drive the removal truck.

From planning to the final box being delivered, the Ede Bros team helped to make the removals process as stress free as possible. The crew are all highly professional, experienced, very friendly, polite and had a hugely positive attitude - nothing was too much trouble.

"When we were looking for quotes Ede Bros were responsive. They dealt with queries promptly & were clearly delighted to be chosen.

The team who came were cheerful, very polite, clearly massively experienced. You are having strangers in your home handling your most treasured & private possessions & we felt wholly comfortable with all of them.

During the move, nothing was too much trouble.

A piano had to be moved up steps to our new home - they knew what they were doing.

Post move care/help (e.g. box collection) has been great.

"We have used Edes in the past and were keen to work with them again

From the first contact with Lee and Sophie, the team were highly professional, courteous and responsive.

The removal team were great -all very professional, and very hard working - all 5 it the team were a credit to Edes - I am sorry but I don’t remember all the names except Norman and Neil.

On what could have been a stressful day, the team made everything easy and the speed at which they worked was amazing.

Our move was carried out in a very quick, efficient and careful way. The team were very helpful and accomodating of all our wishes. They were very happy to advise and move items several times, when we were unsure of our preferred location in the house. The move took four days in all and we felt the cost very reasonable, so were thrilled to receive a £300 discount!
