Moved from a small 2 bed terraced house to a much larger 3 bed detached. Not loads of furniture so it was relatively quick job. 2 hours to pack into the van, and 1.5 hours to unload on the other side.

Move from first floor flat to three storey house

"From the outset I had fantastic communication from Tayla. I had to rearrange the survey more than once and she was accommodating and very friendly. They offered us hanging boxes so we didn’t need to worry about packing clothes that were hanging in wardrobes and also free boxes and tape to help with the move. We moved from a first storey flat into a three storey house. On the day of the move I was at home alone with a 7 month old baby, the removal team were able to get us all packed up while I walked with the baby to keep her out the way. They did a fantastic job and went above and beyond packing a few bits we hadn’t managed to get in boxes.
They were incredible getting all the boxes into the correct rooms into the new house making unpacking so much easier!

Tayla has continued to be fantastic collecting our boxes once unpacked.

The customer service has been exemplary and I could recommend their services highly enough."

"Able to get booked in quickly and the service on the day was top notch. Items were quickly loaded into the lorry and then contacted after handover of there new keys to organise delivery. Guys moved boxes to the right rooms and took care with all the items. Despite being a Friday, the guys cracked on and got the job done and were friendly throughout.

"Packing was undertaken over a two day period and was efficiently and carefully handled.
Team were punctual, efficient, friendly and hard working.

A complicated move ... a full house into storage and then back out again into the new house followed by a partial move from a flat into that new house.

"We contacted DRS based on a very positive referral from a friend.

The initial quote was based on a survey carried over zoom which was a very straightforward exercise.

It was a complicated move ... a full house into storage and then back out again into the new house followed by a partial move from a flat into that new house... not helped by ourselves making some late changes to dates etc.

However, DRS kept excellent communication channels and were happy to supply additional boxes and tape as we realised how we needed increasingly more materials.

The staff were friendly and accommodating throughout the process and even provided a small repayment oner all was complete having evaluated the work done versus the quote.

Couldn't fault any of the staff - admin or movers - all were excellent.

Couldn’t fault DRS. Professional, helpful and friendly from the outset both from the admin aspect, being flexible and accommodating our needs, and the practicalities of the loading and unloading our belongings. I was concerned about a number of plants and shrubs we were taking with us but these presented no problems and were well looked after even when temporary storage was required. When timings/keys/storage all became complicated DRS worked with us to give us the best outcome in what was a typically stressful house move. Would have no hesitation in recommending DRS.

"Scott was very helpful and gave useful tips when he visited to give us a quote.
Jillian and Tayla answered my queries regarding packing and practicalities.
Danny and Troy were both helpful and polite and handled our possessions with care. They worked methodically and the whole loading process went very smoothly.
Jillian worked with us to find the best solutions for storage of our goods when keys and timings became problematic. We would have no hesitation in recommending DRS to anyone.

Heavy Victorian Mahogany extending table (13foot )with 5 leaves and 14 mahogany dining chairs from residence nearly 3 hours away. All items to be French polished so needed to go into basement down several garden steps and pathways.

"The initial contact with office staff was very good. The lady was clear and efficient with all aspects of move.
Very personable staff and I immediately felt I was dealing with a good company.

I was kept informed by email and phone of collection and delivery schedule. The items were stored with company for about a week before being shipped to my home.

The men who delivered the items were again really pleasant, introduced themselves on arrival and again very were courteous people.

My property was wrapped well and handled carefully throughout.

Though the table as extremely heavy and it was raining, they kindly put it into the basement through a garden door.

I could not have wished for a more professional movers and will not hesitate to use them again and recommend them to family and friends. Thank you.
