I used Kerr�s for moving house which also required two months storage of all my belongings

"I used Kerr�s for my removals which involved loading in January, two months storage and delivery to my new house. Throughout the whole process I was provided with accurate information about the process and costs.
I cannot recommend Kerr�s highly enough for all aspects of my move. The teams who came to uplift and delivery my belongings treated my items with care, were respectful to neighbours and made what could have been a stressful experience very easy - putting me at ease and talking through every step of the process

Kerr�s was not the cheapest quote I received but they were certainly exceptional value for money. Simply fab, thank you all so much"

"I've used Kerr's before for other moves, but most recently for removal out and back during our property refurbishment while we were away in rental property for some months. They have always been reliable, but I particularly appreciated their flexibility and understanding when we had to reschedule the move back several time due to unpredictability on the part of the builders responsible for completing the works."

Furniture from an apartment in Edinburgh to a house in Crieff via a house in Bridge of Allan

"I received a number of quotes for the move but was highly recommended to Kerr's by my son and daughter in law who had used the firm for a move from Edinburgh to Bridge of Allan. Everyone I dealt with either by phone or email from the firm could not have been more helpful. We were unsure of when missives would be finalised and had to move the date but that was no problem. We felt confident that we were dealing with an efficient and understanding firm. The team who moved us were excellent. They were friendly, courteous, highly professional, and clearly knew what they were doing. Nothing was too much trouble and they went over and above the call of duty. They took pride in their work and we gained a real sense of pride in a family firm. So much can go wrong with a move but we were reassured that we were dealing with a reputable firm from the start.
We would unhesitatingly recommend Kerr's. Thank you."

Move from 5 bed family home in south Edinburgh to country cottage in rural village south of Edinburgh. Move out was scheduled 3 days prior to move in. Confirmation of the completion date was cancelled twice due to the buyer/chain. Kerr�s were very supportive and accommodating the changing dates.

"First class service and support at a very competitive price.

I would highly recommend this family owned and operated business to anyone who appreciates the importance of dealing with people based on the values of trust and respect.

I dealt mainly with the owner Blair and his son William, who clearly care about providing a great service at a fair price. Our completion date kept moving around due to a long and unstable buying chain, their patient and understanding was greatly appreciated and there was a sincere attitude of it being a shared problem.

The move itself was seamless, with a friendly, polite team of movers who worked hard, took care, whilst having a chat and a laugh with us along the way.

We moved to a 3rd floor flat and could not have done it without the team.

"They were so efficient and made everything super smooth.
They had no issues moving all of our furniture including our exercise bike and ensured everything was well looked after throughout.

The whole Kerr�s team were fantastic throughout the whole process of our move. From arranging a quote, the move itself and picking up our boxes everything was done in an efficient and friendly manner.

Nothing was too much bother for the team and they ensured that our moving day went smoothly. The team went the extra mile and dismantled / reassembled both our bed and our wardrobe on the day of the move which removed a lot of the hassle for us.

Moving from a 2 bedroom Victorian house in a busy district of Edinburgh,50 miles away to a modern 3 bedroom house in a more rural community was going to be a challenge for me, especially as it followed the death of my husband.

"From the beginning of our contract when Mr Kerr the firm�s founder, came to estimate, to his grandson William leading the team on moving day, the experience was actually a good one.
They packed, boxed and loaded very cheerfully, were waiting at the destination before we arrived, unloaded and put the goods and furniture where I wanted. They also happily moved items when I changed my mind and offered sound advice.

We used Kerr''s of Edinburgh for our move out of a rented flat in Edinburgh to a house in St Albans. The move was straightforward but our flat was on the second floor and some items were too big and had to be carried down the stairs. In addition, a large and heavy table top (which had been lost by another more famous moving company) turned up at the last minute and Kerr''s were pleased to help take it down and install it with no fuss or extra charge.

"I had intended to use a larger, international moving company whom I had used before, but their quote was too high. Kerr's were significantly cheaper and so I decided to go with someone new but was concerned about quality.

However I am happy to report that everything about the experience from the first phonecall to final delivery and afterwards was excellent. I could not recommend Billy and his family more highly - their enthusiasm for the work and level of service was outstanding.

Billy Kerr visited our flat and was experienced enough to estimate volumes and packing times accurately (so we were always on or a little ahead of schedule). Contracting and payment was easy with their on-line systems. Insurance was discussed and we worked out a way to exclude high value items to keep it competitive. Boxes were delivered ahead of time. Jeff arrived a day ahead to help us with packing and got through a mountain of work the day before our move. There were no breakages. William Kerr and his team handled the move out and move in efficiently. They worked really hard, solved some tricky lifting problems - as well as being polite, cheerful and generally pleasant to work with.

As mentioned above, they were willing to accept a large item at the last minute that had been missed from an earlier move by another company. During the move in, they helped me with rearranging some furniture which was too heavy for me alone. At the end of the move they took away all the packing materials (and then searched through them all for items I had thought were missing but actually weren't).

I rarely write reviews but I am pleased to recommend Kerr's of Edinburgh as an excellent moving company."
