"I honestly can't thank you all enough. From the first day I called to the actual move, you have all been incredibly helpful. It's such a stressful situation anyway, and I was trying to navigate so many components which was incredibly difficult but you were all very patient with me while I had to sort everything. I was given great advice and support from the beginning on how to do the entire process which was amazing, and then the guys on the day doing the move made it a breeze. Billy and Dan were so quick about the move I couldn't believe how fast it was all done, they made everything feel way more relaxed than I was feeling ha! I appreciate their calmness so much.

I wouldn't move any other way from here on out, and I cannot recommend you guys enough. Thank you so much!"

"I had called 2 companies previous to calling Scottish Removal. There was a notable difference not only on the reviews but the prompt response, regular updates with clear information. I really got the impression from my first conversation with Melissa that its not only a business but that her heart is in what she does. Her true commitment to meeting her clients needs was demonstrated in how she helped me by continuing with planned removal dates despite delays in my funds. Despite negative news she remained committed, trusting and even supportive which made a truly challenging experience feel as if it was a mere wobble.

Fatastic experience.

Feedback for future: perhaps advise clients that when furniture is taken apart for move ( removal of screws such as sofa bed or table) that they will not put it back at destination so client can plan for this ( source personnel to do this). This feedback did not spoil my move or receipt of goods it would have helped to know.

The move was international shipping from Canada to Scotland. Scottish Removal Services were responsible for liasing with the English Shipping Handlers/Transport Company. They unloaded and collected my household contents in Stirling, Scotland and transported them to their storage facilities on the Isle of Skye. They stored them for 6 months and then loaded and transported them to my new home on the Isle of Skye, Scotland.

"This was part of an international move that involved SMS picking up my two large crates in Stirling and unloading them into their van and taking them to the Isle of Skye. From the first point of contact, the service was exemplary. In communications prior to the move, they were responsive, informative, friendly and reassuring. They went out of their way to collect everything and load it despite adverse winter snow and difficult road conditions.

They carefully delivered my household goods into their storage where it remained for 6 months. They have recently completed the second stage of the move and transported the contents to my new home on the Isle of Skye.

I cannot recommend them more highly. In all respects including service, attention to detail, flexibility, fair pricing, professionalism, exceptional care taken, timely delivery, empathy and going beyond any expectation - Scottish Removal Services are superb. You will be very fortunate to select them for your move or storage needs."

"From my first contact with this firm I was treated with nothing but the utmost respect from all staff. Melissa and Claire were informative and extremely helpful, and they explained everything I needed to know. They were encouraging throughout, they welcomed questions, and they kept me updated at each stage. The whole process was straightforward and simple, and their input went a long way to ensuring that the removal went smoothly for me.
Billy and Lewis carried out both the removal from Skye, and the delivery to Glasgow, and I cannot praise them highly enough for their assistance. They were punctual, courteous and efficient, and nothing was a problem for them. They treated my furniture and belongings with due care and attention, and they ensured that items were placed where I wanted them, rather than just assuming. It was a pleasure to have them in my homes.
Overall my experience with this firm was a positive one, and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone planning a house move."

Removal from Isle of Skye to Balloch.

"We had heard many good reports from people who had in the past used the services of this company so when we came to move we had no hesitation in engaging them to undertake our removal.

We found the proprietor and all her staff very friendly very professional and totally helpful.We opted for the full pack service and the packing was exemplary.

Our furniture etc was placed in the appropriate rooms upon delivery and clothes were even hung in the wardrobe. we were so confident in the company and their staff that we left our former home the day they arrived to pack and left them to it.!

They packed the first day Thursday uplifted Friday and delivered to us at the beginning of the next week which gave us four full days to sort out our new home before SRS arrived.

All in all a totally superb and supportive service and we would have no hesitation in recommending Scottish Removal Services."

SRS moved us from Herefordshire to the Isle of Skye last week … despite having two medical issues, they still provided an excellent service, with Frank & Alex collecting our things in two vans …. & Alex, Lewis & Dylan delivering them.

"Excellent throughout ..: they even arranged for superb weather in February!

It was particularly pleasing that they assembled our bed asap as my wife was very ill and needed to rest after our journey.

Both teams worked well and made us feel valued.

Move of home and business from North Ayrshire to Isle of Skye. Lots of awkward sized boxes for business as well as weaving looms and spinning wheels.

"Scottish Removals were an absolute delight to deal with from start to finish.
They went above and beyond in helping us with our move which wasn't easy as we only had confirmation of our sale and purchase at the last minute so it was a tight turn around.
We were moving our home as well as our online craft business which involved lots of non-standard shaped boxes as well as weaving looms and spinning wheels.
All the team were very professional on loading and unloading the vans while also being really friendly and helpful too.
Our contents were put in storage between us moving out and moving in and this was all handled fine too.
We thoroughly recommend Scottish Removals to anyone looking for a removal firm as they are fantastic to work with."

Scottish Removals service supported and help move our Women''s aid refuge to a new location. Frustratingly we had challenges, with access to new premises being put on hold due to solicitor hold ups, we were then hit with snow and I wasn''t able to be on hand on the day after getting stuck in the snow.

"This company were completely supportive, adaptable, found solutions and most importantly were kind and understanding.
The removal guys were so easy going and good natured, thoughtful and respectful to our goods.
I cannot recommend and thank this company enough, they are easy to deal with, great value for money and will make any move that little bit less stressful!

One bed bungalow in Portree, Isle of Skye to 2 bed flat in Inverclyde.

"Office based staff were knowledgeable and provided written information to help make the process as smooth as possible. Removals Van personnel were quick workers and very pleasant to deal with. Our unloading was due to take place at 8am on 27/8/24. However, the Removals Van personnel asked if they could deliver the previous evening as they had arrived in the area early. It did put me on the spot, since I didn't want to say no, knowing how far the men had to travel home. I had also driven down from Spean Bridge and was very tired as I'd had a hectic few days beforehand. At the same time, although it worked out ok (the next day was abysmal weather), it knocked out our plans for a relaxing evening the night before the move."

The Scottish Removals team were engaged to move us from Skye to North Yorkshire. We asked them to provide all of the packing materials and support our packing with a fragile pre-pack service.

"The whole experience beginning with the first telephone conversation to agreeing to engage the company and then to the final moving was a good experience. The office took time to clearly explain all of the steps and key time markers through the process.
We agreed to take advantage of the fragile packing service to ensure our delicate pictures, paintings and electronics were given extra TLC.
The moving guys arrived, pleasantly introduced themselves individually and then the loading began. Everything fitted (just) including many items from our garden.
After a long days travel the small van with our mattress and essentials arrived just in time to offload the essentials for a good night's sleep before the main lorry arriving the following day.
The main lorry arrived early the next day and unloading commenced. The unloading was intense and busy but the guys were very obliging and positioned (also re-positioning several times) some items happily. By lunchtime everything was off-loaded and the guys were closing the lorry doors for the journey back to Skye. We would thoroughly recommend them to other and would definitely use them again"
