We were only moving a short distance away and our daughter and grandchildren were remaining in the house while we moved to a (slightly) smaller house.We were leaving quite a lot of items and only removing some items from some rooms. This situation created difficulties not always experienced when all furniture etc is being cleared.

"An excellent job performed carefully and efficiently. I would recommend the company and, on a personal level Kieran and Liam went beyond expectations. They even returned a few days later to reposition a wardrobe.
They arrived promptly and took tome to go round the property with us to make sure they understood our requirements. They were polite and always checked with us if in doubt.They were equally careful when bringing items into our new home."

Move from Surrey back to Scotland in May. Very large vehicle in tight cul-de-sac but handled effectively. All neighbours thought the vehicle was amazing.

"From initial contact with the office in early March to the delivery of our belongings to our home in Ayrshire mid May the process was seamless. Angela and Jacqueline in the office were on hand to answer any queries and kept us updated on move details. The vehicle turned up on time and in pristine condition, expertly handled in tight conditions. The team were very professional yet friendly and handled our belongings with care, wrapping all fragile item carefully in blankets.
At the other end our belongings were offloaded with the same care and the team helped my husband to put together the larger heavier items - much appreciated by myself.
I would have no hesitation in recommending Kilmarnock Removals and would certainly use them again if required. Many thanks 😊

On selling my house in the autumn of 2021, where I had lived for over 25 years, Kilmarnock Removals transported my furniture and contents from Hertfordshire to Scotland, and then provided storage whilst I looked for a new home and waited for it to be built. Due to changes with my house search, the storage period turned out to be a lot longer than originally thought, but this was not an issue.

"Kilmarnock Removals have been great all the way through. Always helpful on the phone and on email, providing a long distance quote via a mobile walk through of my house, and then lots of reassurance when I was convinced all my stuff woudn't fit in the truck (it did of course.....) Their teams - both for collection from the old house and delivery to the new one - were excellent - professional and courteous and on time. Whilst my belonging were in storage, I was able to visit the facility to collect some items, with just a few days notice. The storage period ended up being just over a year, but everything was perfect when it came off the truck into the new house."

"Stress free removal thanks to Kilmarnock Removals. The team arrived on time and took great care moving all my furniture and clothing into the van. We were quite uptight about our move, as it all kind of happened together. To explain, we were moving to a new build, which had been put back several times, and a lot of work was happening in the house on the week that we moved. The last thing of course was the furniture, and by that time we were quite stressed.

"We needn’t have worried. Kilmarnock Removal guys turned up and were so organised and helpful, and didn’t go until we were fully satisfied that everything was to our satisfaction. The guys were so helpful and careful, and took all of the stress away. Can’t thank them enough!

The staff were very courteous and clear about the order, price and service being offered. The uplift went without a hitch. The guys were so organised, and it was amazing how they packed and protected everything, it seemed to fit into the pods without any bother, leaving no gaps for goods to move about. The move is described above."

Domestic/residential move from an upstairs flat to a house, involving some bulky items of furniture.

"Approached Kilmarnock Removals at short notice looking for a removal within a few days. The quotation process was easy, quick and efficient. The company managed to arrange the removal very quickly and explained the process well, keeping us up to date throughout. Everything on the day went well, in fact was ahead of schedule. The office staff and removal guys were excellent.

Local move, both properties within 3 streets of each other. Both properties on dead end & narrow streets.

"Service was fantastic. Booking process was simple and clear and the office staff were extremely understanding of the flexibility we required (we moved during the Coronavirus pandemic and dates could not be fixed until very close to the move). They also offered lots of helpful advice and easy to use forms to help organise the move. On the day the movers sent were amazing. Punctual, polite and super efficient they made the move so much easier. They were happy to help and offer advice and were unbelievably hard working. I cannot recommend them highly enough!"

We moved only a short distance within one mile but the guys took the same care as if we had moved 50 miles. Great job well done.

"Kilmarnock Removals were very helpful and arranged to call at our property to quote for the removal. This was done promptly and efficiently. They made the costs very clear and there were no surprises.
On the day of the move the boys could not have been more helpful and they knew exactly what they were doing. They were extremely efficient and careful and made sure our furniture was well protected with blankets despite the fact we were only moving less than a mile. They worked extremely hard and had the van loaded, and I mean loaded to the roof and right to the rear doors,in less than 4 hours and then did it all again at the other end with no complaint.
Great job and I would definitely recommend them and will certainly use them again if and when we ever move house again."

"Emotional experience greatly supported by a professional team who made a difficult job look easy.

Arrived early, worked hard all day, patiently waited outside our new home, they were friendly and helpful.

Exchange of keys was delayed and they brought in additional crew so we could get the van emptied quickly."

Removal within town (2kilometers) from 3 - bed bungalow to large 2 bed ground floor flat in retirement complex on 5 December 2018
 

"The 3rd bedroom had a computer desk, fixed liner cupboard, fixed bookshelf, chest of drawers with personal items, stationery items, medications and confectionery, and a fitted wardrobe with filing folders, boxes of paper, photos and computer items.
All the contents of all these were bundled together into 11 heavy boxes labelled only study, with no attempt to give any description on the store like with line. I was present all day but I was not consulted about the handling of anything in any room.
Saving a few minutes of the men's time has cost me weeks of digging down among crumpled papers trying to filter out similar items to store together. I'll warn everyone that they'll be wading lines deep in balls of paper searching for what they cant to store, and where to lay things they lift out which they're not yet ready to store away. "Early start at 7am and everything from bedroom furniture to two 3 piece suites, 5 bikes and gardening furniture were all moved carefully, with no damage. The removal men worked hard all day, and were very polite and experienced in handling and moving all types of furniture. Settled in new house by 6 pm."

"Kilmarnock Removals responded to my online enquiry very quickly and promptly sent out someone to price the job. Again the quote was with me very quickly and accepted straight away as the cost was not much more that I paid 8 years earlier for a previous move.
