Moving a family of four between homes with far too many possessions!!

"Southeringtons quoted us for a house move with just under 2 weeks notice. Turned up promptly on moving day and worked efficiently to load the truck. Two large items would not fit through the house but staff lifted the items over the garden fence and up the next door neighbours drive to resolve the issue. Unloading was seamless and took less than three hours. Staff were friendly and professional and a credit to their company. I would not hesitate to recommend this family business to anyone requiring home removals."

Very pleased with Southerington�s service moving us from Oakham all the way up to Northumberland.

"They put in long days and were very professional and courteous. They packed everything up and dismantled and re-assembled beds, bookcases and wardrobes. Everything was included in the quoted price - there were no add-ons such as indemnity against late key release. In fact they were quite relaxed about timings which was good for stress levels! Very pleased."

"Well handled as we had a number of dates from the sellers, which was flexibly handled. Found a suitable date from them which worked for everyone in the chain. Helpful and very flexible on the actual move. Moved a piano 2 doors down with no fuss. When we arrived it was amazing how quickly they unloaded and reassembled the furniture with a minimum of fuss"

A basic house move from Leicestershire to Lincoln. I''m not entirely sure of the removal costs, however, I believe it was around �1,200

"I am delighted with the service received from start to finish.

Mr Southerington came around promptly to assess our house contents and the removal quote was sent a couple of days later.
Our initial removal date had to be pushed back which all seemed to be taken in stride by Southeringtons.

They arrived the day before removal date and packed 95% of our belongings leaving only the essentials for the date of completion. This service alone took most of the stress out of moving home.
The guys were prompt, very polite, worked carefully and with efficency collecting what we had packed and also carefully packing things we had missed. There were issues with completion in our new house, however, this had nothing to do with Southeringtons. (If they offer an extra day to complete owing to poor Solicitors Advice then take it. Southeringtons were far better and knowledgeable than the Conveyancing Firm we engaged).

You pay a bit more for their service than other Removal Firms, however, they were second to none and fully worth every penny. If you can afford it then Southeringtons are brilliant. Thank you.

"Setting a moving date in the property chain was very difficult. Southeringtons were far more accommodating than they really needed to be, given all the changes.

The removals process was faultless - not a scratch or mark on any surface in the old or new house. The removals teams couldn't have been more helpful and professional."

"We have moved house twice in 6 months due to renting and waiting to purchase a property. Before this we have had 3 other house moves over the years.

From start to finish the service we received was exceptional, The quote as very competitive and gave me confidence that what was offered would be delivered.

The team turned up on time and were very polite and professional in their appearance. During the course of our 4 day move they were exceptionally helpful and nothing seemed to much trouble.

We moved from one 5 bedroom house to a slightly smaller 5 bed. we had lots of Asian furniture and art as well as a pool table.

"From the first telephone call to the last contact with southeringtons we expirenced an exceptionally high standard of service. Mr John southeringtons immediately gave me such confidence with his punctuality, smart dress and clear professional explanation of everything we needed to know.

Unfortunately for us, our move was fraught with difficulties, none to do with Southeringtons. It's times like this that you are so glad you have chosen a Professional company. We found Mr Paul Southerington professional, courteous, kind and as accommodating as he could be with our constantly changing move date.

We have had many international moves and although this was a domestic one, the team of men that packed us surpassed all of our expectations.
They were professional, courteous, efficient, careful with our possessions and very fast. Nothing was too much trouble and we felt that they enjoyed their work and did everything to a very high standard. I would definitely recommend Southeringtons. They are outstanding."
