"Had to specifically request mats etc to be used in new house on new carpet which is ridiculous on a rainy day and when in their info pack they state that they do this. During the initial quote and when moving items into storage they did not use mats or ask if they should remove shoes. Complete lack of respect for my house.
When moving into new house, expensive furniture was placed on the ground outside in the rain. They had no ramp or anything to support the removal of items from the lorry. Everything came out of storage extremely dirty. There was damage to an expensive dining room table, probably from having something to close to it and rubbing the corners. My wardrobe was dragged, completly damaging the underneath.
The company has refused to take responsibility and stated that I informed them about the damage after their 7 day limit for making claims. unfortunately, a relative had a life threatening condition and so I was not home to take photos or send the complaint within 7 days. I plan to take legal action as ultimately the company did not do the job required and has a duty of care towards my belongings. The company is ignoring me and refusing to give legal team details. "
