"What an amazing team. Myself and my family have been using R&J for years, they have completed at least 6 moves for us! Always super helpful, Matt such a lovely guy. Felt really comfortable around all the guys in my home packing and they moved us in and out super fast. Went above and beyond as they did some extra things which wasn’t part of the move ie moving a fridge freezer and washing machine for us. Great company and service ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️"

"The team supporting our move were so friendly and efficient. They were really easy to work with and they double checked everything. I particularly appreciated how they asked if they could move anything they had placed in our new house. Whilst we were waiting for the keys, the team were easy to keep in touch with. This was a move to a village a short distance from our previous 3 bed home. The access at the new property was via a fairly steep driveway and R&J scoped this out prior to submitting their quotation.

"The quote provided was timely, fair and competitive. We felt assured that all aspects had been covered in the initial visit to provide the quotation. Even before we received the quotation we felt reassured that they were the right company for the job.

We were provided with boxes for us to pack ourselves at a reasonable cost and given advice on how to pack. Matt was very responsive and helpful leading up to our move.

On the day of our move the team of five arrived promptly at 8am and loaded our possessions very quickly and efficiently by 10:30am. The team moved our possessions with care and respect. They also provided protection to floor coverings.

As the team had some spare space on the van they were happy to take a few heavy plant pots that they hadn’t been made aware of. This was much appreciated. At the new property the team did their best to put boxes and furniture where we wanted them and before they left they were keen to make sure there was nothing else we wanted moving to a different spot.

The team were very friendly and worked incredibly hard and we would have no hesitation in recommending them. Overall we feel this represented extremely good value for money."

Quick and professional

"The guys worked hard to get the house clear in a super quick time. Nothing was too much trouble. We’re even had a problem with the back gate and losing the keys on the morning and one of the guys assisted in sorting the problem.
Even though we received the keys late to our new home the guys helped sort a table for us by screwing it back together.

Moved from 2 properties

"Quote was for move from 3rd floor flat and 1st floor flat to a house.
All received as promised, after a number of changes to date which they dealt with very professionally finally the move date arrived.
The team arrived at 8:00am, cleared 3rd floor flat 8:30am, then cleared 1st floor flat by 9:30am.
(Also found my grand-dads medals and tucked in a drawer for me, something I would of been heart broken if lost or damaged.)
Arrived at the house and unloaded contents placing every box and piece of furniture exactly as requested. No breakages and all done with a smile and good humour, left us at 10:30am, fab-u-lous!

"Second time I have used this company to move in 5 years, no hassle good communication throughout, boys turned up on time and worked extremely hard and we were out by 11.00am and settled in our new house by 4.00pm.

R&J Removals moved us from a 3 bed terrace to a 4 bed 3 storey home in September.

"They were absolutely amazing. Very fast, careful and respectful. They took care of everything well moving out and then again moving in.
All our things were where we wanted them and they even took time to rebuild our sofa etc.
Our day was smooth and relaxed and could not have gone any better. They were kind, funny, respectful and very very capable.
We had no damage to any items or either house.
I was constantly in awe of them throughout the entire process.
They're super-human! Amazing service and I would absolutely, 100% recommend them to anyone.

A slightly complicated move as my daughter and I were swapping homes. We only live a mile apart so distance was no problem, but my main concern was timing. We needed 2 crews- one at each property to work together to coordinate the move. Clearly it made sense to have the same firm doing both moves. I approached a couple of companies, but they didn''t have the teams to offer the two simultaneous moves. I then remembered that I''d used R&J Removals 13 years ago when I moved in. R&J could offer 2 teams and the price quoted was reasonable so that gave me the reassurance I needed.

From the surveyors visit through to the final handshake at the end of the job, the service we both received from R&J Removals could not be bettered.

I chose to have packers [ many years of experience of moving means that I know how invaluable it is to have this done] but my daughter and her husband chose to do it themselves, not realising just how much work it was to pack up a house when you're 7 months pregnant... Lesson learned!

My team, Matt and Rob, were simply the best. They came and packed on Saturday, then arrived early Monday morning to pack the remaining items and start loading the van. Nothing was too much trouble. They were highly efficient, extremely hardworking and pleasant to have around. I don't mind admitting I was very anxious about everything, but they were so kind and calming. They even went above and beyond and sorted out the Virgin Media connections in both properties.

When the other team needed extra help at their end, Matt and Rob stepped in and helped out.
All in all, it took just over 4 hours to complete both moves. I don't know how they did it- but I am so grateful that I chose R&J."

Move to a 3 storey house with quite narrow curved stairs to all floors. A good number of large outdoor potted plants.

"Team arrived early at 0750 (a good thing) on day of move.
After brief discusion the team rapidly emptied house into large van and proceed to empty garage and large garden pots garden furniture to second smaller van.Only stopping for one coffee!
Proceeded to destination (35 minutes away).
Everything moved in and positioned by 1350.Despite having to lift the settee over the first floor balcony as stairs were too narrow.
No damage to possessions at all, only very minor marks on walls of the narrow staircases. TV's and mirrors, etc were well looked after in special protective bags.
Excellent team of 3. Well done to them. Very pleased.

The guys were great. They arrived on time, loaded us up quickly and we were out and on the move before the required time. Then it started to go wrong as we didn''t get our keys until gone 3pm.

"This didn't faze them in the slightest. When we finally got to our new house with the key they had already called for extra help and had us unloaded in record time. I can thoroughly recommend them. From our experience I also recommend you take up the late key waver, so glad we did.

The guys went above and beyond to make the experience as stress free as possible. Nothing was too much trouble.

"They were so patient and understanding when I had to wait ages for the solicitors to give the go ahead for me to collect the keys to my new place. They even did a bit of DIY to get my washing machine connected up when they could have just told me to get a plumber in. I can't recommend them highly enough. I highly recommend these guys.
