"The lead firm was recommended by our roofer Peter. We had spent a few days on holiday looking up at donner windows and decided that lead gave the best long term finish. The 3 generation of the same family came and leaded are dormers and completed are vallies. People stop us asking who did the windows and the lead work. Replace old lead with new
Re tile in roof valley
Clear away site.

Investigate suspected leak, which proved to be condensation running down cold water pipe, but found an unfixed tile which had slipped, and fixed that. Also pointed out rotted roofing felt which has now been fixed by another tradesman.

"Richard came when arranged, did the work quickly and efficiently, was friendly and helpful. Discovered a loose tile and fixed that on the spot. Recommended another trader to replace rotted felt.
We were very pleased with the service and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Richard.

Richard came to investigate a small leak of rainwater round an air-vent in our roof. In the event, this wasn''t a major piece of work. But it did involve going onto the roof to apply some sealant round the air-vent (under the tiles). Clearly not something for the amateur DIY enthusiast to attempt.

"Richard was prompt, polite and professional. He took time to investigate the problem - including going onto the roof to check the tiles and into the attic to check the under-felt.

He gave me a clear explanation of the possible problem and the potential costs before doing any work.

It rained last night and there was no sign of a leak - job done - thank you Richard. I would definitely use him again for any roofing work."

"Many thanks for the excellent work of replacing the lead flashing and repointing, also for noticing a couple of damaged/badly fitted tiles and replacing them.
