Our roof was leaking in several places due to weathered cementing, missing slates and a cracked sky-light window. Chris Hay’s workmen repaired the leaks, cleaned the gutters and provided all-over maintenance to stop any more water getting in.

"I have asked several companies to quote for the work at first; Chris Hay responded fast and sent his workmen to assess the roof in a matter of days. The price quoted was not the lowest from the lot but it was fair and the roofers were the most knowledgeable. After some delays caused by bad weather, the workmen spent a week and a half repairing the roof (without the need for scaffolding, using just their ladders). They were very professional in the way they had organised the work around us at home and respectful of our property. They had checked in with us at the end of each day to explain what had been done and what still needs to happen. The outcome was very positive with all the repairs finished on time and leaks fixed. I had great experience with Chris Hay and his team, and highly recommend their services.

Cleaned out rhones and tops of downpipes.
Stripped off old felt on shed roof and refelted with new mineral shed felt. Removed all debris.

My roof was checked after storm damage, a loose ridge tile was fixed. My gutters were all cleaed out. A leaking roan pipe was sorted and replaced.

"I had asked for my roof to be inspected after recent storms,
I was reassured by Andy and his colleague what needed done.
They fixed the ridge tile & cleaned the gutters,no mess
which was great. Andy came back because the leak on the roan pipe wasn't fixed and he replaced the part at no extra cost. I am very happy and would use Chris Hay again"

Hip and ridge tile replacement and cracked roof tiles replaced due to storm damage

"I contacted Chris for a quote due to storm damage and he sent two of his guys the same day. Due to his busy work schedule and time taken for tiles to be delivered the work did take a few weeks before it got started but once Andy and Kerr arrived they finished the job within the week and we are very satisfied. The ridge and hip tiles look better than they did before the damage and all rubble and old tiles were removed. A great job done."

"Had contacted Chris after bad storm as a tile had fallen from the roof. He called to say he'd get someone to me as soon as he could. It took a few weeks as they were very busy due to the storm! Andy and another roofer (sorry, don't remember his name but he was the one who went up to fix the tile). They did the job and cleaned up afterwards.

Inside my loft was wet. Therefore I presumed it was due to damaged roof tiles.

"Chris sent his workmen to my property very quickly. They checked all over the roof and advised me it was in perfect order. On further inspection in the loft, they told me it was due to condensation and the vents were blocked with the insulation. Chris phoned me back to discuss, he agreed to send his workmen back to see if they could clear the vents. Unfortunately they were unable to carry this work out. I have since got this done from someone else. I phoned Chris to let him know and asked if I was due him any payment. He said absolutely not. I cannot thank him enough, after all it was his 2 workmans time. I would have no hesitation on calling Chris Hay again and will most definitely be recommending his company"
