retra is the UK's leading trade association for independent electrical retailers and servicing organisations. Formed in 1942, we represent more than 1,400 members, operating from over 2,300 outlets in the UK today.

With retailing becoming a leisure pursuit for many people, it is essential that consumers are treated in a courteous, friendly and professional manner at all times.

retra requires its members to follow a Code of Practice. If a consumer has a problem they should, in the first instance attempt to negotiate a solution with the retailer. If a fair and equitable solution cannot be arrived at then consumers can write to retra to help resolve the problem.

Trading Standards - Fife Trusted Trader

Trusted Trader is an independent scheme run by Fife Council Trading Standards. Businesses signing up to the scheme must abide by certain terms and conditions which reflect their responsible and sensible approach to the way they trade and conduct their business.
