The Association of First Aiders – AoFA is an association formed out of the membership of the First Aid Cafe website, UK’s largest independent community of over 14,000 first aiders and first aid trainers.
The AoFA complements the FirstAidCafe by being able to represent its members.UK’s largest association supporting over 2,000 first aiders, first aid trainers and first aid training providers. British Fire Consortium
The primary aims of the BFC are maintain high quality technical standards of our members and to actively encourage all our members to obtain third party accreditation to ISO 9001 or equivalent approval bodies recognised by the European co-operation for Accreditation (EA).
Our members supply quality products and highly professional servicing for many aspects of fire prevention and fire protection. Products and servicing will include, extinguishers, signage, alarms, sprinklers, dry risers, emergency lighting and risk assessment together with many additional fire safety products.
The BFC promote best practice within the fire protection and fire prevention industry through representation with official UK and European bodies together with other relevant industry agencies, institutions and associations. The BFC provide technical advice and approved training for members and hold regular meetings, enabling the opportunities for members to exchange ideas, discuss issues and trends facing our industry today.

The Dumfries and Galloway Trusted Trader Scheme is a local business partnership aimed at increasing consumer confidence, supporting local businesses, and helping protect people from doorstep crime. The scheme is operated by Dumfries and Galloway Council Trading Standards Service.
Businesses signing up to the scheme must abide by certain terms and conditions which reflect their responsible and sensible approach to the way they trade and conduct their business.
A major feature of the scheme is customer feedback which is published on an online database maintained by an independent third party, Referenceline Ltd.
