National Carpet Cleaners Association

The National Carpet Cleaners Association is the only nationally recognised trade association dedicated to the cleaning of carpets, hard flooring and soft furnishings.

The NCCA membership comprises fully insured companies and professionally trained technicians that follow a Code of Practice and are recommended for a full range of services related to the carpet and upholstery cleaning industry.

Trading Standards - South Ayrshire

The South Ayrshire Council Trusted Trader Scheme is a local business partnership which aims to increase consumer confidence, promote good practice within local businesses and help protect people from doorstep crime.

The Scheme is a directory of local businesses that have been vetted by Trading Standards and who made a commitment to treat their customers fairly. It is based on customer experience and customer feedback. Trader members of the scheme ask their customers after a job is completed to provide feedback on what they thought of the job and the feedback is published on an independent website.

The scheme is managed and administered by Trading Standards which is a part of South Ayrshire Council.

Woolsafe Approved Registered Inspector

The WoolSafe Organisation is a resource for information and advice about carpet and rug care and a range of carpet care services to carpet owners, carpet suppliers and the providers of carpet care products.

When something goes wrong and you are not happy with the performance of your carpet or rug, WOOLSAFE Registered Inspectors are on hand across the UK and Ireland to investigate the problem and advise on the likely cause. These are totally independent, highly experienced professionals from different areas of the carpet industry. They are fully qualified to inspect and test wool carpet, they provide an impartial service and prepare a comprehensive report detailing their analysis and conclusions.
