Headlock adjusted so window could be opened.

"Came around within an hour of first phone call. Followed all Covid safety precautions. Work completed quickly and then a demonstration given to show it was all working.

The roof window had not been installed correctly and the headlock needed adjusting so that the ventilation bar could be closed and the window could be opened."

Replacement of Velux windows and making good of roofing deficiencies.

"Phil , Matt and Tom were a pleasure to have around the house. They worked efficiently, competently, carefully, tidily , professionally.
They completed the job well ahead of time which was a boon given the uncertainty of the following day's weather for the Veluxes they were replacing.

Compared to the year's problems we had with the previous firm PMV fixed the problem in ONE DAY!

So far all is weather proof and we have had some heavy downpours.

We are enjoying using the handset for opening and closing the windows and blinds.

I would recommend PMV as outstanding.

Installation of two new Velux Sun tunnels (3 storey house) plus replacement of two Velux panes in old Velux windows and opening window servicing

"Excellent job.

Worked a long day in cold conditions but finished ahead of estimated time so did not need another half day visit.

When considering the job at the beginning , we received good advice on where to go to order the precise fittings needed. All dealings were very straightforward. Work was done tidily and efficiently.

Short lead time between first visit (to survey the job) , and then between receiving the materials and getting them fitted.

Repair of faulty Velux windows in kitchen extension

"From the moment I met Phil and his son I was totally impressed by their professionalism and knowledge and I felt reassured that they would be able to fix my problem, which they did. They also serviced my windows and gave them a clean and they are now running better then when they were installed three years ago. Please do not hesitate and give these guys a call if you have a Velux window that needs repair or servicing. I’m already planning for them to come round in the new year to repair and upgrade a more aged manual Velux window we have in the hallway upstairs."

Repairs and maintenance to Velux windows and associated work including attending to a water leak caused by a failed lead surround

"This father and son team is outstanding in every respect. They are charming, efficient, confidence inspiring and excellent in what they do. They arrived on time despite London traffic, explained clearly and precisely what needed to be done to resolve every problem and then ahead and carried out all the work without fuss. They came equipped with all parts and materials needed for the job and ancillary contingencies. They resolved a water leak problem which had defied the efforts of two previous contractors. They worked with the quiet efficiency of total experts in their field.

Thoroughly recommended. They should be called Heineken - probably the best contractors I have ever had working in my house.

Replacement, and upgrading, of Velux blinds and total maintenance and rejuvenation of 15+ year old Velux roof windows. Price included supplying of 3 Velux Blinds.

"This father and son team really understand and know Velux windows. From our initial communication to the final result my confidence in their work grew exponentially.
PMV undertook the complete refurbishment of 3 Velux windows which were about 20 years old. Before quoting a price I sent photos via e-mail and the scope of work was drawn up. This included sanding down the wood frames, nourishing the wood, a deep clean of all the working mechanics, an inspection of external and internal installation - putting any problems right, and replacing the blinds which required updating the tracking system. In addition the windows were totally cleaned ... spotless!!
Once onsite I had a thorough explanation of what could and what could not be expected ... the later being slight cosmetic imperfections which could not be totally "erased" after 20 years.
PMV arrived with all the necessary and specialist equipment and worked straight through for about 5 hours with no break.
At the end of the work I was invited to view the windows individually and given tips on cleaning and "best practise" for opening and closing the blinds and windows. I was told there was a good deal of life left in these windows, and even more with the maintenance completed.
I highly recommend this team, who are obviously experts in this field.
By contrast I contacted 3 other companies about this work. One said the windows needed total replacement at a cost in the thousands of ££s - this without even seeing the windows. One quoted specifications of a "computer generated variety" - no personal attention here - which did not address the needs of a window refurbishment and rejuvenation. The final one had good specs but at a price £250 higher.
Of the 4 quotes I got PMV was the lest expensive. But, that is not why I selected them to do the work. The selection was due to the positive communications every step of the process and the feeling that my personal needs were being met.
Highly recommended and I will be having them back in 3 years for my next maintenance."

"PMV Maintenance have been looking after and servicing the 56 velux windows at our school since I first contacted them soon after taking up my position here.
Throughout that time they have always provided an excellent regular service as well as responding very well to our call out enquiries.

I first contacted them for remedial work on the velux windows at our school which they dealt with in a very professional manner. Since that time they have maintained them and I am always reassured the windows are serviced well as their work is of a high standard. "PMV carried out an excellent job, they were courteous, friendly and professional. They used waterproof dustsheets to prevent water ingress whilst the window was removed. We actually had a hailstorm! But there was no mess and the team cleared up so everthing was exactly as when they had arrived. They even wore blue overshoes whilst inside the house.

The service provided was to help me rest my electric velux window over the phone.

"I found Phil Valle on the Internet, I explained what I needed to do but I didn't know how to do it, he talked through the process of resetting the window with me very clearing and with patience as I was up and down a stepladder to try and figure out what I was supposed to do. I managed to do it and I was very happy as I had been unable to use the window for ages since having to buy a new remote because last one broke. There was nowhere on the Internet that shows the process! Phil saved me a lot of money by talking me through it. I am very grateful to him. I would highly recommend him!!"

PMV inspected and repaired the flashings around 10 Velux and 2 Fakro windows that had been damaged during the replacement of the roof.

"PMV inspected and repaired the flashings around 10 Velux and 2 Fakro windows. These had been damaged and poorly re-flashed by an unscrupulous builder and his roofer, who refused to acknowledge responsibility. PMV responded quickly to the initial inspection request, and was able to repair all damages soon thereafter. This required complete re-flashing of 5 windows which were already sustaining water damage. PMV further provided a very detailed window-by-window analysis, supported by photos, documenting the severity of the poor workmanship. If it goes to court, PMV will also report the findings there.

If you're looking for new installations or remediation work, look no further. PMV's work and professionalism is of the highest standard."
