One of the standout qualities that truly made a difference in our experience was Mr Mcrae and the teams’s excellent communication. Whether it was during normal working hours or often outside of them, I was always well-informed and supported. It was clear that the whole team and especially Mr McRae are dedicated to making sure every aspect of the process runs smoothly, and that commitment really eased the stress of what could have been an overwhelming situation.

"Having looked at local social media it was noted that a high number of entries indicated that McRaes were a good choice. I have to agree with that thought. I have been very satisfied with all contacts with them from the first placing of my property onto the market to the (eventual) exchange of contracts. There was a false start with the first buyer who pulled out at a very late stage of the purchase process. This was in no way anything to do with McRaes who very quickly placed the property on the market again. This buyer has now exchanged contracts and a completion date agreed.
It was very obvious throughout the process that not all agents were as quick or as thorough as McRaes but I was provided with updates and feedback at all times very often latish into the evening. I had requested details of a solicitor that they knew and trusted and again an excellent choice was given - all this has made the process more pleasurable than it may well have been.

I have been delighted with the care and attention that all members of staff have given at all times especially Craig McRae and Lisa Fox and would be happy to recommend them as being of great quality and understanding. it is often said that moving is one of the most stressful things that one can do - it is made easier by such a company as McRaes."

"A lot of estate agents get bad press but McRae’s are the exception to this. From start to finish we were kept informed of everything that was going on and they went over and beyond in every aspect. We really cannot fault the service we received from Lisa, Craig and the team and they certainly worked extremely hard to get our sale over the line. "McRae's are the best in the business and we found the whole process of dealing with them to be excellent from start to finish.

The viewing process was world's apart from our experiences we've had with other agents in the area such as the Stow Brothers. McRaes give you time to view the property, answer questions, and Camille is great at ensuring that buyers don't feel rushed or harried. As the property had some challenges, McRae's were hugely accommodating with arranging follow-up viewings while we completed our due diligence.

Upon acceptance of our offer, we found Craig, Lisa, and Barbara to be friendly, personable and available. They work hard to understand buyer's individual circumstances, managing the chain, and are motivated by getting deals over the line. We would not hesitate to use McRae's again."

"McRaes, Lisa in particular who dealt with us throughout, informed us of the procedure of selling a property (as we'd never sold one before, only purchased) and explained absolutely everything we needed to know to have a smooth experience. They arranged the viewings, went along and let the people in and made sure everything was secure afterwards keeping me in the loop at all times. This gave me total peace of mind.
The final week was hectic but again Lisa made sure I had all the relevant information and kept me informed of any changes daily. There's absolutely no way we could have navigated around everything without their help and expertise.
I would definitely recommend them and shall be using them again in the not too distant future.

"This sale was an extremely rocky journey where updates and communication from all but the team at McRaes was poor to say the least.
In addition to selling our property, we were dealing with several family issues which were causing us additional anxiety, however, Lisa, Craig, Barbara and the team continued to pursue updates, always responded to requests for call backs and were relentless in their efforts to get this sale over the line as well as always showing empathy to not just us but our buyer also.
Without Lisa’s persistence, we really don’t think that we would be sending this review from our new home.

"I don’t know if this sale would have gone through without Lisa and the team and she wasn’t even our estate agent. We were buying the property through macraes, Lisa was more knowledgeable about the sale than anyone else in the chain. This was not the easiest of sales due to our being in a long and complicated chain. When there were issues further down Lisa was always on it, kept us updated, pushed the other agents and solicitors to act when this was needed. She was professional throughout and was a joy to talk to. I am so grateful to Lisa for all of her hard work."

Purchasing a property in Highams Park. 1930s end of terraced, 5 bedroom.

"We purchased a property in Highams Park. McRaes have been absolutely excellent throughout the whole process.

McRaes matched us with the house and suggested it would be worth us viewing. They organised a second viewing for us and they did not rush us or pressurise us into making a decision.

We sold our house through an online estate agent. Due to difficulties with the sale of our house things did not go as smoothly as we had hoped. The difference between the service we received from our online agent and McRaes was massive. McRaes were always available to advise and support us. They were 'on the ball', honest, straightforward and professional. They worked hard and had real expertise to ensure the deal successfully went from the initial offer right through to completion.

If I was to sell a house again in the future, I would without doubt choose McRaes. I strongly recommend. They really are what an estate agent should be."

"Lisa was very friendly and supportive the whole way. Whilst she was working for the seller and clearly busy, she was helpful, responsive and transparent throughout the process. I had a real sense of a local company that valued local people it serves. Lisa was personable and we were able to speak regularly if there were issues, she has a good sense of humour which I guess helps. A real knack at bringing buyers and sellers together. Being local I felt I could either call in or speak on the phone to resolve or discuss anything."
